Bilgi işleme modeline dayalı bir dersin fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının manyetizma konusundaki başarılarına etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bilgi İşleme Modeli’ne (BİM) dayalı bir dersin öğrencilerin manyetizma konusundaki başarılarına olan etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla, öğrencilerin başarılarını ölçebilmek için araştırmacı tarafından Manyetizma Başarı Testi (MBT) geliştirilmiştir. 91 öğrenciyle yapılan pilot çalışmada, kullanılacak materyaller ve veri toplama aracı test edilmiş ve elde edilen dönütlere göre gerekli düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Ana çalışma, 110 Fen Bilgisi birinci sınıf öğretmen adayının katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Geleneksel öğretim metoduyla ders gören öğrenciler kontrol grubu, BİM ile ders anlatılan öğrenciler deney grubu diye nitelendirilmiştir. MBT ön ve son test olmak üzere iki gruba da iki kez uygulanmıştır. Veriler, SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, deney grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin MBT’deki ortalamalarının kontrol gruptaki öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğunu, kovaryans analizi (ANCOVA) sonuçları da bu farkın anlamlı bir fark olduğunu ortaya koymuştur
