Article Withdrawal Process

For author(s) who wish to request the withdrawal of their work in the evaluation stage:

The authors are obliged to fill out the article withdrawal form and send the scanned copy signed with the wet signature of each author to the editorial board via e-mail through thetipdergisi@harran.edu.tr address.
The Editorial Board reviews the withdrawal notification and provides feedback within 15 days at the latest.

Unless the withdrawal request for works whose copyrights were transferred to Journal of Harran University Medical Faculty at the submission stage is approved by the Editorial Board, authors cannot submit their work to another journal for evaluation.

For author(s) who wish to request the withdrawal of their published work:
The authors are obliged to fill out the article withdrawal form and send the scanned copy signed with the wet signature of each author to the editorial board via e-mail through the tipdergisi@harran.edu.tr address.
The Editorial Board reviews the withdrawal notification and provides feedback within 15 days at the latest.

The editorial board has the obligation to initiate an investigation regarding the work if copyright and plagiarism suspicion arises regarding a published, early view, or work under evaluation.

If it detects that copyright infringement and plagiarism have been committed in the work, it withdraws the work from evaluation without assessment and returns it to the authors by detailing the detected situations with proper referencing.

If the editorial board detects that copyright infringement and plagiarism have been committed in a published or early view work, it carries out the following withdrawal and notification procedures within 15 days at the latest. For the work in which ethical violation is detected;

• In the process following the withdrawal date, an explanatory text in the form of "Withdrawn: .....Study Title....." is added to the end of the table of contents in the electronic, if any, printed copies of the first journal issue to be published.
• In the explanatory text, instead of the Abstract and Full Text contents of the article, an announcement text is published by adding the reasons for the withdrawal of the work, detailed evidence sources if any, the institutions and organizations to which the author(s) are affiliated, and the author(s)' orcid numbers.
• When the notification containing the article title and announcement text is clicked, a link is provided to the previously published issue.
• The article with the "withdrawn" statement is also uploaded to its previous issue.
