International Journal of Informatics and Applied Mathematics (IJIAM) is an international academic open access, peer reviewed biannualy journal. The journal encourages emerging scholars and academicians to share their professional and academic knowledge in the fields of computer science, applied mathematics with simulation and algorithms description.

IJIAM aims to reach a large number of readers worldwide with original and current research work completed on the key issues of the journal scopes.

International Journal of Informatics and Applied Mathematics is a bi-annual double-blind peer reviewed, free of charge and open-access journal. 

  • Papers submitted for publication must be written in English language. Papers have to respect both writing and language rules. Authors are responsible for the scientific and linguistic accuracy of the papers published in this journal.

The authors will be required to prepare the source file in Latex using the LNCS styleClick

  • All papers must be submitted via the journal's website (https://dergipark.org.tr/ijiam). The author(s) must submit their paper in accordance with the journal's publication guidelines and ethical rules. Papers that are not rule-specific are not evaluated. Articles published or submitted for publication elsewhere are not evaluated.
  • Submitted papers should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • All submitted papers will be pre-screened by the Editor to determine suitability for further review (e.g. Format, Area of interest, British English spelling, Originality).

Each paper is checked for similarity (plagiarism) by Authenticate system.

  • Papers deemed suitable will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers. In case of delay on behalf of a reviewer, the reviewer may be substituted by another. In case of excessive delay, the paper will be reviewed by members of the Editorial Board. Submitted articles cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book.

  • Papers submitted to the journal are presented for review by two referees according to the decision of the editorial board. Papers submitted to the journal are published by editorial board decision after the arbitrators have given a favorable decision.
  • During the editing process, the author(s) must reply to messages regarding the review and editing of the article. If the author(s) do not reply to messages within the specified deadline, their article will be reported to the next issue.
  • Papers that have completed their evaluation process are published according to their submission date.
  • Multiple papers submitted by the same authors are not published in the same issue.


Ethical standards for publication exist to ensure high-quality scientific publications, public trust in scientific findings, and that people receive credit for their ideas.

Plagiarism

All journals published by IJIAM are committed to publishing only original material, i.e., material that has neither been published elsewhere nor is under review elsewhere. Manuscripts that are found to have been plagiarized from a manuscript by other authors, whether published or unpublished, will incur plagiarism sanctions.
Manuscripts are checked by Ithenticate Plagiarism System.

Duplicate Submission

Manuscripts that are found to have been published elsewhere, or to be under review elsewhere, will incur duplicate submission/publication sanctions. If authors have used their own previously published work, or work that is currently under review, as the basis for a submitted manuscript, they are required to cite the previous work and indicate how their submitted manuscript offers novel contributions beyond those of the previous work.

Citation Manipulation

Submitted manuscripts that are found to include citations whose primary purpose is to increase the number of citations to a given author’s work, or to articles published in a particular journal, will incur citation manipulation sanctions.

Data Fabrication and Falsification

Submitted manuscripts that are found to have either fabricated or falsified experimental results, including the manipulation of images, will incur data fabrication and falsification sanctions.
Improper Author Contribution or Attribution
All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. It is important to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution, including students and laboratory technicians.


Redundant Publications


Redundant publications involve the inappropriate division of study outcomes into several articles.

Sanctions

In the event that there are documented violations of any of the above mentioned policies in any journal, regardless of whether or not the violations occurred in a journal published by IJIAM , the following sanctions will be applied:


Immediate rejection of the infringing manuscript.

Immediate rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal published by IJIAM by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript.

The prohibition against all of the authors for any new submissions to any journal published by IJIAM, either individually or in combination with other authors of the infringing manuscript, as well as in combination with any other authors. This prohibition will be imposed for a minimum of 36 months.

Prohibition against all of the authors from serving on the Editorial Board of any journal published by IJIAM .


In cases where the violations of the above policies are found to be particularly egregious, the publisher reserves the right to impose additional sanctions beyond those described above.

IJIAM is open access, a free-of-charge journal.
