THE MEDIATORY ROLE OF DYNAMIC CAPABILITIES IN THE EFFECT OF ENVIRONMENTAL DYNAMISM ON SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE IN SUPPLY CHAINS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the mediating role of dynamic capabilities in the effect of environmental dynamism on supply chain performance in the supply chains of industrial enterprises in Turkey. The scope of the research consists of enterprises that are the main producers in their supply chains among the five hundred largest industrial enterprises. The research was conducted for the Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning and Purchasing managers and employees of these businesses. The data was obtained by survey technique. Participants in the study were determined by convenience sampling method. A face-to-face survey was conducted with 139 participants. The obtained data were analyzed using the SmartPLS 4 package program. In the analyses, first the effect level among the variables was examined, and then the mediating role of supply chain dynamic capabilities was evaluated. As a result of the analysis; It has been found that environmental dynamism positively affects supply chain dynamic capabilities and supply chain performance. It has also been observed that supply chain dynamic capabilities positively affect supply chain performance. Finally, it has been determined that supply chain dynamic capabilities have a mediating role in the effect of environmental dynamism on supply chain performance.

TEDARİK ZİNCİRLERİNDE ÇEVRESEL DİNAMİZMİN TEDARİK ZİNCİRİ PERFORMANSINA ETKİSİNDE DİNAMİK YETENEKLERİN ARACI ROLÜ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de faaliyette bulunan sanayi işletmelerinin tedarik zincirlerinde çevresel dinamizmin tedarik zinciri performansına etkisinde dinamik yeteneklerin aracı rolünün belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın kapsamını en büyük beşyüz sanayi işletmesi arasından tedarik zincirlerinde ana üretici konumunda yer alan işletmeler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, bu işletmelerin Tedarik Zinciri, Lojistik, Üretim Planlama ve Satın Alma yönetici ve çalışanlarına yönelik gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, anket tekniği ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada katılımcılar, kolayda örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. 139 katılımcı ile yüz yüze anket yapılmıştır. Elde Edilen veriler SmartPLS 4 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizlerde, öncelikle değişkenlerin arasında etki düzeyi incelenmiş, daha sonra tedarik zinciri dinamik yetenekleri aracı rolü değerlendirilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda; çevresel dinamizmin, tedarik zinciri dinamik yeteneklerini ve tedarik zinciri performansını pozitif yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca tedarik zinciri dinamik yeteneklerinin, tedarik zinciri performansını pozitif yönde etkilediği gözlemlenmiştir. Son olarak çevresel dinamizmin tedarik zinciri performansı üzerindeki etkisinde tedarik zinciri dinamik yeteneklerinin aracı rolünün bulunduğuna yönelik tespitler yapılmıştır.
