Author Self-Archiving Policy

The International Journal of Kurdish Studies (IJOKS) supports the broad dissemination, long-term preservation, and accessibility of scholarly research. As an Open Access journal, IJOKS permits authors to archive and share their work in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.

Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial platforms to maximize the visibility, accessibility, and impact of their research.

Article Versions

Author's Original Manuscript (AOM)

The Author's Original Manuscript (AOM) is the version of the manuscript before peer review.

Authors may deposit and share the AOM at any time on personal websites, institutional repositories, preprint servers, or other non-commercial scholarly platforms.

Accepted Manuscript (AM)

The Accepted Manuscript (AM) is the version that has successfully completed peer review and has been accepted for publication but has not yet undergone copyediting, typesetting, or final formatting.

Authors may deposit the Accepted Manuscript immediately after acceptance in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other non-commercial repositories.

Authors should clearly indicate that the manuscript has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Kurdish Studies (IJOKS).

Version of Record (VoR)

The Version of Record (VoR) is the final published version of the article, including copyediting, typesetting, pagination, and DOI assignment.

Authors are encouraged to deposit and share the published Version of Record in institutional repositories, personal websites, and other non-commercial repositories immediately after publication.

Whenever possible, authors should use the final published PDF provided by the journal.

Repository Requirements

When depositing any version of an article, authors should:

• Clearly acknowledge the International Journal of Kurdish Studies (IJOKS) as the original place of publication.
• Include the complete bibliographic citation.
• Include the article DOI whenever available.
• Provide a direct link to the published Version of Record on the journal's website.

Citation and Attribution

Proper citation of the published article should always accompany archived versions. The use of the article DOI is strongly encouraged to ensure accurate citation, persistent access, and effective indexing.

IJOKS supports the widest possible dissemination and long-term preservation of scholarly research. Self-archiving is encouraged as part of the journal's commitment to Open Access, academic integrity, research visibility, and international best practices in scholarly publishing.
