Environmental problems, political crises, social problems and economic crises that negatively affect the world society and the environment are called global problems. The number of global problems that threaten humanity is increasing day by day, making it necessary to take urgent measures. The aim of this research is to reveal the ways in which social studies teachers perceive global problems and suggestions for social studies curriculum. The research is designed according to the case study research design of qualitative research methods. According to the findings of the study; global problems of social studies teachers; the problems that threaten human life, the problems that threaten all humanity, ozone layer perforation, environmental problem and depletion of exhaustable energy sources have emerged. Global problems of social studies teachers; ozone layer perforation, health problems, environmental problems, water pollution, wars and global warming were perceived as perceived. Social studies teachers have written the names of 19 organizations to solve global problems. Global issues in Turkey and World; wars, racism, climate change, global warming, food problems, environmental problems, endangered animals, ozone depletion, energy resources depletion, health problems and overpopulation were identified. Social studies teachers to raise awareness of global problems; awareness raising, recycling, media use, increasing money allocated to tackle global problems, making live examples, making government policy, project incentives, putting into textbooks, making TV programs, documentaries and films and making civil society organizations more functional. Social studies teachers to prevent global problems; recycling, training, sensitizing and raising awareness, social media, avoiding the environment, avoiding the use of consumable energy sources, exemplifying students, becoming members of non-governmental organizations and taking an active role.
