Correction texts to be published in the Journal of Communication Theory and Research should follow the structure below. If the language of the article is English, this text should be prepared in English. The correction will be published in the first issue after the author submits the manuscript.

A brief description of the situation subject to the correction: In this explanation, it should be explained why the correction is needed, including the bibliography of the first published version of the article.

The first published versions of the words, sentences, phrases, tables, images, etc. subject to correction: In this section, the first published version of the element to be corrected should be given. If the erroneous part or the part in need of correction is not easily distinguishable, this part should be made clear with appropriate markings or coloring.

New corrected versions of the word, sentence, phrase, table, image, etc. subject to correction: In this section, the final version of the corrected element should be presented as a whole and without intermediate explanations or additional markings.

Summary of Changes: If corrections have been made in a fragmented manner or multiple corrections have been made, this section should provide a brief summary of the corrections in bullet points. If the correction was made on a single element and is easy to follow within the article, this section is not needed.

Impact Statement: It should be stated whether the corrected element affects the overall findings, conclusions or interpretations of the study. If so, this impact should be detailed and the conclusion should be reinterpreted if necessary.
