Manuscripts published in the im: Journal of communication & media studies are digitally archived in LOCKSS. The published manuscripts are allowed to be accessed by their authors in the institutional archive of the university where they work, in thematic archives or in any other archive without an embargo period. Thus, free and immediate access to published articles is provided to everyone. The publisher of the im, Başkent University, is pleased to announce its archive policy in accordance with its policy of supporting the dissemination of research results:
It allows authors to use the final PDF version of a manuscript published by the publisher for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based repositories. There is no embargo period, but the source must be acknowledged and a hyperlink to the journal home page or the DOI of the manuscripts is required.
Authors can download their manuscripts as PDF documents. Authors can send copies of their articles to colleagues without any embargo.
im: Journal of communication & media studies allows authors to store all versions of their articles (submitted version, accepted version, published version) in an institutional or other archive of the author's choice without embargo.
