Dr Ferhat Cagri Aras is a Karadeniz Technical University Lecturer in International Relations in the faculty of economics and administrative sciences. His research focuses on South Asian development policies and the unmanned defence industry. He is particularly interested in Eurasian energy security and regional development agencies. Recently, his work is focused on regional policies and security strategies of Central Asian Countries with India. However, Dr Ferhat Çağrı Aras also continues field studies and case studies for the regional development programs of South Asia and the defence industry in Turkey.
Pinar Erkem- Biography
Dr.Pinar Erkem is an Associate Professor of Political Science and has been working in Istanbul
University, Faculty of Economics since 2008. Dr.Erkem has her BA on International Relations from
Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey and MA on European Integration and Development from Vrije
University Brussels in Belgium. She has completed her PhD in 2014 at Istanbul University with a
dissertation titled “Consociationalism as a Method of Conflict Regulation: A Case Study of 1960
Cyprus Republic”. Dr.Erkem studied in Queen’s University, Canada, as a visiting scholar during PhD,
working on consociational theory in 2012-2013. Dr.Erkem gives lectures on IR, political science,
nationalism, conflict regulation and globalization at the faculty. Her research interests include
nationalism, conflict regulation, multiculturalism, EU-Turkey relations and arts and politics.

He has served in secondary education in various positions as a teaching and administrative staff for 25 years. He has taught sociology of education, pedagogical research and teaching at the Aristotle University, the University of Macedonia, as a Teaching Staff at the Hellenic Open University and as a visiting professor in the Departments of Political Science at the Universities of Beihang in Beijing, Cairo in Egypt and Cadi Ayyad in Marrakesh. Since October 2017 he has been serving at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a Special Teaching Staff.
His areas of research interest are: Educational Research, Sociology of Education and Political Sociology.
He has published 78 articles in journals. His published work deals with issues of sociology of education, political sociology and pedagogy.

Orkhan Valiyev (Dr.) was born on April 22, 1987. After graduating from high school in 2005, he received a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Baku State University in 2009. In 2012-2014, he received a master's degree from the Department of Political Science at the Academy of Public Administration. In 2014, he won a state scholarship from Turkey for doctoral studies. He started his doctoral education in 2015 and received a doctorate in philosophy from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Sakarya University, Institute of Social Sciences, unanimously defending the scientific work "The Nationalization Process of Tsarist Azerbaijan: 1850-1920." In the 2018-2019 academic year, he was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Western Caspian University. In the 2021-2022 academic year, he resumed his pedagogical activity at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Western Caspian University. In addition, in the relevant academic year, he began working as an adjunct teacher in the master's department at the Department of Sociology, Baku State University.

Biography of Vladimir Sterpu
Early Life and Education:
Vladimir Sterpu was born on May 23, 1987, in Moldova. He pursued his early education at the Theoretical Lyceum "Spiru Haret" in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, where he developed a solid foundation in primary and secondary education. Vladimir later attended the Military College "Stefan cel Mare" in Campulung Moldovenesc, Romania, where he acquired discipline, self-confidence, and team-working skills, which would serve as the cornerstone of his future professional endeavors.
In 2006, Vladimir began his higher education journey at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Here, he specialized in Jurisprudence and earned the title of Jurist in Jurisprudence and Lieutenant of Police. His education at this institution equipped him with a robust understanding of crime prevention, particularly through the study of foreign expertise in crime prevention and its application within law enforcement agencies.
Academic Pursuits and Research:
Vladimir's academic career continued to flourish as he pursued a Master's degree in Anglophone Studies, specializing in Translation and Applied Linguistics, at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Moldova State University. His master's thesis focused on the complex criminal terminology in English and Romanian, based on Interpol's activity reports.
Driven by a passion for political sciences and international relations, Vladimir embarked on a PhD journey at the Moldova State University, where he specialized in Political Sciences. His doctoral thesis, titled "Contributions of the International Organization INTERPOL to Security Ensuring: Case Study on the Republic of Moldova," explored the significant role of INTERPOL in global security and its impact on the Republic of Moldova.
Professional Career:
Vladimir Sterpu has held several key positions throughout his career. Since July 2011, he has served as a Scientific Researcher at the Institute of Legal, Political, and Sociological Research, Center for Political Research and International Relations in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. His role involves processing and analyzing scientific results, publishing findings, and presenting ongoing work at academic conferences.
In November 2011, Vladimir took on the role of Investigative Officer at the Police Commissariat of Ciocana District in Chisinau. His responsibilities included crime investigation, patrolling, and maintaining public order, where he utilized his extensive training and knowledge in criminal law.
