She completed her undergraduate studies in the Sculpture Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Atatürk University; her master’s degree at the Institute of Fine Arts, Gazi University; and her doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
Between 2011 and 2020, she worked as a Research Assistant at Gazi University and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. Since 2020, she has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Malatya Turgut Özal University.
The artist has participated in various exhibitions, symposiums, and workshops both nationally and internationally with her works.
Sündüz Adilak is a Research Assistant in the Department of Performing Arts at Malatya Turgut Özal University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. She completed her first undergraduate degree in Science Education at Yıldız Technical University and received her second undergraduate degree from Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Department of Theatre (Acting Program). She obtained her master’s degree from Dokuz Eylül University, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Department of Performing Arts, where her research focused on the use of improvisation as a creative tool in actor training. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylül University, concentrating on body, movement, and performative expression in acting. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant at Istanbul Okan University Conservatory. She continues to integrate her academic research with theatre directing, performance production, and applied stage practices. Her areas of interest include performance theory, body-based acting methodologies, movement analysis, and contemporary staging aesthetics.
