Determination of Motoric Features of U-15 Football Teams Players

Abstract

The training plan will enable to become more efficient by determining physiological requirements of a football match and current sufficiency level for this requirement of young football players. The aim of this study was to determine the motor skills of U-15 players of a professional football club. 17 male footballers of a football club in 2. Division (body mass: 57,06±5,93 kg; height: 170,41±5,65 cm) voluntarily participated to this study. The participants’ training experiences were three years and they had a practice five days in a week. 20 m shuttle run test for aerobic endurance, vertical jump and leg dynamometer for strength, 10 m and 30 m dash tests for velocity, sit and reach test for flexibility was used for measurements. The following results of participants were obtained as: 53,00 ±4,60 cm for vertical jump, 26,23 ±4,28 cm for flexibility, 103,18 ±13,40 kg for leg strength, 1,84 ±0,09 sec for 10 m dash, 4,50 ±0,20 sec for 30 m dash, 53,21 ±3,11ml/kg/min for VO2max. Data in this study has lower values than in studies with adults. In this case it would be appropriate to design training sessions for young footballers different from adults.
