Istanbul Education Journal (ISTJ), an official educational sciences journal of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, publishes original, up-to-date, and field-contributing research articles, review articles, meta-analyses, monographs, and book reviews.
ISTJ aims to be an accredited academic journal for teachers, principals and researchers to publish their articles and to examine, evaluate, and discuss them with relevant national and international stakeholders and institutions.

ISTJ, an open-access and peer-reviewed journal published twice a year on June 30 and December 30, accepts articles written in Turkish or English.
Articles accepted by ISTJ are published sequentially according to submission dates, with equal distribution of different subtopics in the current issue.
