For all human research (including interviews, surveys, and questionnaires), it is mandatory to get ethics committee approval before beginning data collection and submit this approval to ISTJ.
ISTJ is a peer-reviewed, open-access and international academic journal published by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. Aiming to publish original and up-to-date scholarly manuscripts in the field of educational sciences, ISTJ provides a platform for the examination, evaluation, and discussion of research findings in collaboration with relevant institutions and partners. ISTJ prioritizes data-driven studies that contribute to the field, demonstrate high potential for practical application, and strengthen communication and cooperation among schools, families, and faculties. ISTJ is published biannually (30 June and 30 December) and accepts manuscripts written in either Turkish or English. ISTJ uses a double-blind peer review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept anonymous to each other.
