The Istanbul Kent University Journal of Human and Social Sciences aims to make an original and scholarly contribution to the field of human and social sciences, with the goal of serving as an interdisciplinary academic platform. In line with this aim, the journal brings together the scholarly work of researchers from across various fields, thereby contributing to the production of academic knowledge in the human and social sciences.
The journal's scope covers the various fields of the human and social sciences, with a particular focus on Political Science and Public Administration, International Relations, Psychology, Economics and Finance, Business Administration, International Trade and Logistics, International Trade and Business, Social Work, and Public Relations and Advertising. The journal is not confined to a single discipline and is equally open to studies that bring together multiple fields; it particularly encourages original, multidisciplinary studies emerging at the intersection of different disciplines.
The journal publishes original, scholarly articles addressing topics related to the human and social sciences, written in Turkish, English, or German. Submitted studies are expected to contribute to the field with methodological rigor, theoretical depth, and an original perspective.
The journal maintains no thematic prioritization and is open to all subject areas within the human and social sciences. Special issues focusing on current and thematic topics may also be published from time to time; announcements regarding such special issues will be published separately on the journal's announcements page.
