The Izlek Academic Journal is a scientific, refereed e-journal that aims to develop scientific knowledge that is constantly evolving with academic publishing. It aims to increase the publication quality of scientific studies, contribute to their recognition, and increase the reputation of the publications in national and international scientific circles.
The scientific and legal responsibilities of the articles published in the Izlek Academic Journal belong to their authors. All publishing rights of the published articles belong to the Izlek Academic Journal. Authors can publish their works published in this journal before and after publication, on personal web sites or in institutional archives, by referencing this journal in accordance with the rules of librarianship.
The author who sends his/her article to the Izlek Academic Journal is deemed to have transferred his/her copyrights. No royalty fee is paid to the author for the works published in the journal.

Our journal is published regularly twice a year, in the fall and spring. If deemed necessary, special issues are also published.

İzlek Academic Journal includes original, factual or compilation articles that bring innovation to the field in all modern dialects of Turkish and English. In addition to articles, the journal also publishes scientific translations and book reviews.

İzlek Academic Journal includes full texts of papers presented at domestic or international academic conferences, symposiums, workshops, etc., provided that they have not been published elsewhere.

The format used for referencing is APA (American Psychological Association) Style 6th Edition. In both citations and references, authors must follow the writing rules and format specified in the American Psychological Association Publication Manual published by the American Psychological Association. Articles sent to the İzlek Academic Journal are first subject to a preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Board in terms of compliance with the journal's principles. Articles that do not fall within the scope of the journal or do not comply with the content and format requirements of a scientific writing format are rejected without starting the refereeing process or some changes may be requested. Academic impartiality and scientific quality are the most important criteria in the evaluation of articles submitted for publication.

Articles sent to the İzlek Academic Journal in accordance with the publication rules are sent to two referees known for their work in that field for evaluation. Our journal applies the double-blind refereeing system. If one of the two referees evaluates the article and the other gives a negative report, the article is sent to the third referee.

In the studies sent to the İzlek Academic Journal, the authors take into consideration the criticisms and suggestions of the referees and the Editorial Board. If there are issues they do not agree with, they have the right to object with their justifications.

The referee evaluation period of our journal is normally as follows: The editorial board's preliminary evaluation stage is 3-4 days. Each referee has a 30-day evaluation period, and if a correction is requested, the author's correction period is also 30 days. Under these conditions, the entire evaluation process of an article is expected to be completed within 60-90 days. However, the referee evaluation process may be extended due to reasons such as not responding to the referees on time, reassigning referees, etc., or the article evaluation process may be shortened due to reasons such as the referee sending his/her report before the last evaluation date, the corrections that need to be made by the author being completed in a short time, etc.

Authors who send articles to Izlek Academic Journal are deemed to have accepted the journal's said referee evaluation conditions and process. Authors cannot withdraw their articles and cannot send them to another journal until the article process is completed after the editorial board's preliminary evaluation.

The copyright of the studies that are decided (accepted) to be published in Izlek Academic Journal is deemed to have been transferred to our journal.
