In terms of publication ethics, Journal of Aviation (JAV) performs a similarity scan through  iThenticate® software, prior to initiation of “Blind Review Assessment Process”. In case the Similarity Index (SI) is above 20%, the article is sent back to relevant author/authors for reduction of article’s SI below 25%. The article is rejected in case necessary revisions are not performed.
