Journal of Diplomatic Research (JDR) is an international peer-reviewed academic journal published electronically on a biannual basis by the Association for Research on Diplomacy (DARD). Concordantly, JDR is open to all original studies on international relations, political science as well as theoretical, historical and methodological studies on diplomacy.

The Journal of Diplomatic Research (JDR) is an international peer-reviewed academic journal published electronically twice a year (June and December) by the Association for Research on Diplomacy (DARD), which began publication in 2019. The main objective of the journal is to contribute to the scientific literature by publishing original research articles prepared using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods in the field of diplomacy. In addition to this main objective, the journal aims to contribute to the universality of science by ensuring that the academic studies it publishes are indexed by national and international indexes, to be a source of inspiration for scholars in the field of diplomatic research, and to benefit scientific progress.

The Journal of Diplomatic Research is open to all original studies related to the field of diplomacy, particularly international relations and political science, including conceptual, theoretical, historical, and methodological works. The journal is an international platform where scholars examining the phenomenon of diplomacy from all perspectives within a comprehensive framework come together.

Interdisciplinary Approach

The Journal of Diplomatic Research is open to contributions from different fields of social sciences such as history, political science, international relations, law, economics, geography, anthropology, psychology, and methodology. Studies prepared jointly by scholars from different disciplines are especially encouraged.

Publication Types

The Journal of Diplomatic Research accepts five types of publications:

Original Research Article: Scientific research that explains an original idea, event, or behavior with an appropriate methodology and theoretical perspective. Primary data use and appropriate methodology application are priorities.
Review Article: Studies that provide comprehensive literature review and evaluation on a specific topic, reach a wide readership, and create infrastructure for future research.
Case Study: Studies that include comparative analysis of one or more cases, offer different perspectives, and make theoretical contributions.
Methodological Study: Studies prepared for the purpose of testing methods from different disciplines in diplomatic research.
Book Review: Studies containing critical evaluations of books that contribute to the field literature.

Title

  • Clear, understandable, and reflective of the content
  • Turkish and English versions should be equivalent
  • Maximum 15-20 words recommended
  • Avoid unnecessary abbreviations

  • Full Name

  • Email address (mandatory for corresponding author)
  • ORCID number (mandatory for all authors)
Abstract and Keywords
  • Abstract: 150 words, should include the purpose, method, findings, and conclusion of the research
  • Extended Abstract: 750 words (in English for Turkish articles only)
  • With subheadings: Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion
  • Keywords: Minimum 3, maximum 5 words
  • Should be arranged in alphabetical order

  • References must be formatted according to APA 6 format

Ethical Principles

The Journal of Diplomatic Research follows the publication ethics principles, standards, and recommendations established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the Directive on Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions.
The compliance of works submitted for publication to the journal with ethical standards begins at the editorial review stage, and works prepared in violation of ethical rules are rejected before peer review. Similarly, works found to have violated research and publication ethics at any stage of the publication process are rejected. For ethical violations detected after the publication of the work, legal proceedings are initiated within the framework of the Directive on Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions.

Unethical Behaviors

The following behaviors are considered ethical violations within the scope of publication ethics:

  • Plagiarism, duplication, fabrication, distortion, duplicate publication, salami publication, unfair authorship
  • Reflecting others' ideas, methods, data, or works partially or completely as one's own article without following scientific rules and without citation
  • Using data that does not actually exist or has been altered in the article
  • Failing to acknowledge the contributions of individuals, institutions, or organizations in studies conducted with their support
  • Altering recorded research or obtained findings, shaping research findings to suit the interests of supporting individuals and organizations
  • Using incomplete theses or research as sources without the owner's permission
  • Presenting the exact same content as separate publications in different journals
  • Dividing the findings of a research into parts contrary to the integrity of the research and presenting them as multiple articles
  • Adding persons without effective contribution to the authors section or removing those with contribution, inappropriately distorting the author order
  • Not using data and information obtained from other persons and institutions to the extent and manner permitted
Ethical Principles for Authors

The primary responsibility of article owners is to comply with general ethical principles, especially the provisions of the Directive on Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions, throughout the scientific research process that is the subject of the work they submit to the journal and during the writing and publication process of the research report.

Originality and Authenticity

  • Article owners declare that the works they submit for publication resulted from their own work and are original
  • They accept that they have not engaged in any actions contrary to publication ethics, including plagiarism, in their works
  • They accept that all responsibilities arising from detected unethical behaviors belong to them
  • Submitted works must not have been published elsewhere or submitted for publication

Authorship and Contribution

  • To prevent unfair authorship, article owners must guarantee that they have made a scientific contribution to the work they submit for publication
  • It should be known that all authors have equal responsibility on the article
  • The corresponding author must guarantee that all co-authors named in the work consent to the publication of the work and to being named as co-authors
  • Scientists who contribute to the scientific research and report writing process should be listed as co-authors, and those who do not contribute should not be included
  • Those who have provided support without contributing to the research and publication process should be appropriately acknowledged in the work

Citation and Reference

  • Article owners must have cited all works used in their quotations, whether summarized or verbatim, in accordance with APA 6 citation rules
  • The works of other authors, contributors, or sources used must be used in accordance with the scientific framework and indicated in the references

Data Sharing and Transparency

  • Authors may be asked to provide the raw data necessary during the evaluation of their work
  • Authors should be prepared to provide access to data and should retain this data for a reasonable period after the publication of their work
  • If deemed necessary, they should provide access to datasets in their works within the framework of copyright regulations

Conflict of Interest and Funding

  • Article owners are obliged to declare in their works the organizations supporting their scientific work, financial sources, or conflict of interest situations if any
  • All authors are obliged to declare any financial source or conflict of interest that affects the results and findings of the study

Ethics Committee Approval

  • For studies requiring ethics committee approval, ethics committee approval must be obtained, and this approval must be appropriately stated and documented in the work
  • Relevant legislation provisions must be followed in biomedical research involving human subjects
  • In surveys and attitude studies, data should not be presented without the explicit consent of participants
  • The confidentiality of information of research participants must be ensured

Error Notification

If an author discovers any error in a published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor and cooperate with the editor to correct the error.

Ethical Principles for Reviewers
Acceptance of Review
  • If reviewers do not consider themselves competent on the article topic or cannot provide timely feedback, they should inform the editor and refuse to participate in the review process
  • Reviewers who have cooperated by contributing opinions, suggestions, and advice during the scientific research and writing process of the work sent to them for review, or who have a conflict of interest by being in competition or otherwise collaborating with knowledge about the work and authors, should refrain from evaluating the work,

Objectivity and Courtesy

  • Review should be objective, feedback-based, honest, and courteous, without personal criticism of the authors
  • Reviewers should act within the framework of scientific objectivity when evaluating works and should not make subjective, discriminatory, or derogatory comments

Confidentiality

  • Reviewers are obliged to keep the works shared with them confidential and not use any original information, methods, scales, etc., obtained during the review process for personal benefit
  • Reviewers should not share their reports or feedback on the article with others and should not communicate directly with authors without the editor's permission
    In accordance with "blind review" principles, they should not share their reports with third parties other than journal editors

Ethical Sensitivity

  • Reviewers should be careful about possible ethical issues in the article and bring to the editor's attention any sections where they observe ethical violations
  • Similarity situations between the work under review and any other published work of which the reviewer has personal knowledge should also be reported
Ethical Principles for Editors

Evaluation Process

  • The editor should evaluate articles submitted for publication independently of the authors' ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious belief, and political views
  • They are responsible for evaluating the compliance of articles submitted to the journal with the journal's aims and publication policies and deciding whether they should be published
  • Decisions in the scientific evaluation of works should be made objectively and transparently with justification, considering the journal's predetermined publication and ethical principles, the academic quality and validity of the article

Review Process

  • The editor ensures that articles submitted for publication undergo a fair double-blind peer review
  • The editor has full authority over reviewer assignment and is obliged to make the final decision regarding articles to be published in the journal
  • They act in accordance with the principles of the "blind review" process

Confidentiality

  • Information contained in a submitted article should not be used in the editor's or editorial board's own research without the author's explicit written permission
  • The editor or any editorial board member should not disclose information about a work to the work owner, reviewers, or other persons
  • They must guarantee that all information regarding submitted articles will remain confidential until the article is published

Legal Responsibilities
Editors act in consideration of existing legal requirements related to defamation, insult, copyright infringement, and research and publication ethics that may constitute crimes or misdemeanors in their review of works.

Publication Policy

General Information

The Journal of Diplomatic Research is an international peer-reviewed academic journal published electronically twice a year (June and December). The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies, methodological studies, and book reviews written in Turkish and English.

Open Access Policy

The Journal of Diplomatic Research adopts open access principles in publishing. In this context:

  • No fee is charged from copyright holders of works to be published
  • No copyright fee is paid to authors of works to be published
  • No fee is paid to reviewers who evaluate articles
  • No fee is charged from journal readers
  • Articles are made freely available to the scientific community through the DergiPark system

The Journal of Diplomatic Research, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) principles, accepts that published scientific works can be freely accessible, readable, downloadable, copyable, distributable, printable, searchable, linkable to full texts, and indexable via the internet without financial, legal, and technical barriers, within the scope of legislation regarding the protection of copyrights.

Copyright and Licensing

The copyright of works published in the Journal of Diplomatic Research is transferred to the Association for Research on Diplomacy (DARD). Works are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Article Acceptance Process

Articles submitted to the journal first undergo editorial review. During editorial review:

  • Compliance with the journal's scope and publication policy is evaluated
  • Scientific research and publication principles are examined
  • Screening is conducted through plagiarism detection platforms (iThenticate and/or intihal.net)
  • Maximum 20% total similarity and maximum 5% single source similarity rate is required
  • Publications that do not meet these conditions are returned to authors without proceeding to the review process

Articles that pass editorial review are sent to at least two reviewers. Reviewer evaluation reports are kept for at least five years.

Publication Decisions

Final decisions regarding the publication or rejection of articles are made by the editorial board. Rejection decisions are communicated to the corresponding author through the DergiPark system along with justification.

Author Diversity
The Journal of Diplomatic Research values author diversity. In this framework:
  • A maximum of 2 articles by one author (1 single-authored and 1 multi-authored) can be published within one calendar year
  • This period is calculated from the publication of the author's last work
  • Authors who submit multiple articles to the journal simultaneously are considered to have accepted this rule
Transparency and Traceability

The entire publication process is conducted in an open, transparent, and traceable manner. The submission dates of articles and the dates when peer review is completed and acceptance decisions are made are indicated in the article header.

Archiving

The Journal of Diplomatic Research is included in digital archiving systems through LOCKSS and OAI protocols. All published articles are permanently preserved and kept accessible.

Dr. Goran Ilik is a full professor and Vice-Rector for Science at the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola (North Macedonia). From 2012 to 2016, he served as a Senator in the Senate of the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola, and from 2013 to 2017, he held the position of Vice-Dean for Science and International Cooperation at the Faculty of Law - Kicevo. In 2017, Prof. Dr. sc Goran Ilik was elected Dean of the Faculty of Law - Kicevo for the first time, while on January 15, 2021, he was re-elected as Dean of the Faculty of Law - Kicevo for the second time. The academic background includes BA in Law, MA in Political Science, and PhD in Political Science. The publication list contains papers, chapters, and monographs emphasizing the role of the European Union in international relations, the institutional architecture of its foreign policy, the EU's constitutional law and constitutionalism, the EU's axiological performances, and its political power. Also, many papers treat the EU's role in the new international context concerning the contemporary challenges of the liberal world order and the EU’s role and place in it. He is the author of the books: “Europe at the Crossroads: The Treaty of Lisbon as a Basis of European Union International Identity”, “EUtopia: The International Political Power of the EU in the Process of Ideeologization of the Post-American World”, and “International Relations and the European Union: Values before Power”. Prof. Dr. sc. Goran Ilik is a lecturer/trainer at the State Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors “Pavel Shatev” – Skopje (North Macedonia). Also, Prof. Dr. sc. Goran Ilik is co-founder of the Institute for Research and European Studies – Bitola and Editor-in-Chief of the international academic journals "Journal of Liberty and International Affairs" (www.e-jlia.com) and "Journal of Legal and Political Education" (www.iies.mk/jlpe). Since October 2019, Prof. Dr. sc. Goran Ilik has been engaged as an expert in the project ANETREC, which is focused on academic cooperation and post-conflict reconciliation in the Western Balkans region. He is a member of ISCOMET – Institute for Ethnic and Regional Studies (Maribor, Slovenia). He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the “Mediterranea” International Centre for Human Rights Research in Italy (2020-2021). In August 2021, Prof. Dr. sc. Ilik became a coordinator of the sub-thematic area “International Public Law” at the post-doctoral program in "New Technologies and Law", organized by the “Mediterranea” International Centre for Human Rights Research at the University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria (Italy). Prof. Dr. sc. Goran Ilik has been engaged as an expert by the Institute for Global Analytics in Sofia (Bulgaria), which is an independent, nonpartisan, and nonprofit organization. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. sc. Goran Ilik has been appointed as an expert for the "Cross-Border Complex Floods and Forest Fires: Prevention and Management - SOLVE" project within the framework of the Interreg IPA CBC "Greece and North Macedonia" program 2014-2023. Additionally, he brings extensive experience from his involvement in international projects and those supported by the European Union.

Nenad Stekić, Temmuz 2018'den bu yana Uluslararası Politika ve Ekonomi Enstitüsü'nde ve Ocak 2020'den bu yana "Kuşak ve Yol" Araştırmaları Merkezi'nde çalışıyor. Bilimsel araştırmaları Çin Cumhuriyeti'nin güvenlik politikası, Güneydoğu Asya'daki bölgesel güvenlik dinamikleri ve devletlerarası silahlı çatışmaların mevcut güvenlik düzenlemeleri ve siyasi rejimler üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesine odaklanmaktadır.

Doktorasını Belgrad Üniversitesi Güvenlik Fakültesi'nde "Tek kutupluluk çağında askeri müdahaleler ve çatışma sonrası devlet inşası: Federal Yugoslavya Cumhuriyeti, Afganistan ve Irak örneği" başlıklı teziyle aldı. Belgrad Üniversitesi Güvenlik Fakültesi'nde yüksek lisans eğitimi sırasında Uluslararası İlişkiler ve Siyasal Sistem derslerinde gösterici olarak görev aldı. 2021'den bu yana, V-Dem Verileri projesinin amaçları doğrultusunda siyasi rejim türlerinin kalite değerlendiricisi olduğu "Demokrasi Çeşitleri" (Göteborg Üniversitesi) için harici danışman olarak görev yapmaktadır.

IMPP tarafından yayınlanan "Tereddüt Eden Hegemon: Çin'in Çağdaş Güvenlik Politikasının Katmanları" monografisinin yazarıdır. Ayrıca Dr. Stekić'in akademik dergilerde ve antolojilerde otuzdan fazla bilimsel makalesi, kitap incelemesi ve toplantısı yayınlanmıştır ve birçok tematik antolojinin eş editörüdür. Yurt içi ve yurt dışında çok sayıda seminer ve çalışma eğitiminin yanı sıra, birçok ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel konferansta sunum yaptı.

"Kuşak ve Yol" Araştırma Merkezi'nin bir parçası olarak, "Çin Üzerine Diyaloglar" formatında yıllık uluslararası bir bilimsel konferans düzenlemeye çalışmaktadır.

Ocak 2023'ten itibaren "The Review of International Affairs" - RIA dergisinin editör yardımcılığına atandı ve Haziran 2024'ten itibaren bu derginin genel yayın yönetmenliğini yapıyor.

Çin dış politikası ve Sırp-Çin ilişkileri analisti olan Dr. Stekić, CGTN, Xinhua, SCMP, Al Jazeera gibi küresel medya şirketlerinin yayınlarında düzenli olarak yer almaktadır.

Currently working as a professor of political theory at the Department of International Relations at USJT and member of the research team at the Laboratory of Politics and Government (FCLAR - UNESP), at the research group Thought and Politics in Brazil (DCP - USP) and at the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). It has been dedicated to researching topics related to political theory such as political thought and populism, focusing on theoretical and conceptual formulations of authors such as Francisco Weffort, Ernesto Laclau, Cas Mudde and Pierre Rosanvallon.

She is an Associate Professor at the University of Minho (institutional affiliation), teaching in the Department of Political Science at the School of Economics and Management.
Throughout his academic career he has taught in the areas of Political Science, International Relations and Political Sociology. As a researcher, she is an integrated researcher at the Center for Research in Political Science (institutional affiliation), placing her work at the intersection between Politics and Sociology, with emphasis on Citizenship and Democracy.
He has written about the political inclusion of immigrants in Portugal, about the structures of political opportunities and forms of political expression of immigrants and citizens of migrant origin.
She is the author and editor of books, book chapters, reports and scientific articles, and is a member of several international and national organizations in the field of Sociology and Political Science.
Between 2019 and 2024 she was a member of the European Parliament for the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats.
More recently, she has directed her academic research to critical feminism and gender citizenship, the decline of liberal democracies and the rise of autocratic populisms, and the political consequences of the abandonment of rural geographies.

Peace Studies, Conflict Resolution in International Relations, Security Studies

Prof. dr. Zlatan Bajramović is born in 1977 in Split (Republic of Croatia). He graduated on the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo (Department of Defense and Security) in 2001. In 2003. he completed the second cycle of studies at the University of Hamburg, FR Germany, and in 2009. completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo. Doctoral dissertation on “Human Resources Management in Security Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina” at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo was successfully defended in 2014.

He is employee at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Security and Peace Studies since 2005. Position of associate professor has been accomplished in May 2019, and is engaged in the following subjects: Management in Security Systems, Planning in the security sector, Civil protection, Leadership in the field of security and defense, and Protection and Rescue. Since 2024./2025. is also engaged at the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies on subject Crisis Management

Birçok üst düzey akademik ve idari görev yapan Prof.Dr. Ragıp Kutay Karaca 2025 Ocak ayı itibariyle Beykoz Üniversitesi Rektör Yardımcılığı görevine başlamıştır. Uluslararası ilişkiler Siyasi Tarih disiplininde uzman olan Karaca, Diplomasi Araştırmaları Derneği Havacı Fenerbahçeliler Derneği başkanlıklarını yürütmektedir. Karaca, Orta Doğu Enstitüsü Orta Doğu-Asya Proje Grubu üyesi ve Avrasya Stratejik Araştırmalar ve Düşünce Platformu eğitim danışmanıdır.

Karaca, 2000 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Kamu Yönetimi Bölümü’nde ikinci lisans eğitimini, 2003 yılında Gebze Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü Strateji Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı’nda yüksek lisans eğitimini tamamlamıştır. Doktora derecesini Gazi Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nden “Soğuk Savaş Sonrası Dönemde Türkiye Cumhuriyeti-Halk Cumhuriyeti Çin İlişkileri” başlıklı teziyle almıştır.

2010-2012 yılları arasında Milli Savunma Üniversitesi Stratejik Araştırmalar Enstitüsü'nde öğretim üyesi olarak çalışan Karaca, 2012 yılında Uluslararası İlişkiler Siyasi Tarihi alanında doçentlik unvanını almıştır.

2013-2017 yılları arasında İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü’nde Doçent olarak görev yapmış, Dekan Yardımcılığı ve Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü görevlerinde bulunmuştur. 2017-2018 yıllarında Nişantaşı Üniversitesi’nde Uluslararası İlişkiler (İngilizce) Bölüm Başkanlığı ve İktisadi, İdari ve Sosyal Bilimler Fakültesi Dekan Yardımcılığı görevlerini yürütmüştür.

2018 yılında Siyasi Tarih alanında profesörlük unvanını alan Karaca, 2018-2024 yılları arasında İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi’nde Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü öğretim üyesi ve Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü Müdürü olarak görev yapmıştır. 2 Ocak 2025 tarihi itibarıyla Beykoz Üniversitesi'nde Rektör Yardımcısı ve Sosyal Bilimler Fakültesi, Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler (İngilizce) Bölümü öğretim üyesi olarak göreve başlamıştır.

Karaca, ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde yayımlanmış çok sayıda makalesiyle alanında önemli bir akademik birikime sahiptir ve literatüre değerli katkılar sağlamaktadır. “Dünyadaki Yeni Güç Çin: Tek Kutuptan Çift Kutba” ve “Güç Stratejisi Çin: Soğuk Savaş Sonrası Türk-Çin İlişkileri” başlıklı kitapların yazarıdır. Ayrıca “Diplomasi Tarihi I”, “Diplomasi Tarihi II”, “Diplomatic History I”, “Diplomatic History II”, “Sino-Turkey Relations: Concept, Policies, and Prospects”, “New Concepts and New Conflicts in Global Security Issues” ve “Asya’da Güvenlik Sorunları ve Yansımaları” başlıklı kitapların editörlüğünü yapmıştır. Karaca, Orta Doğu ve Asya ağırlıklı olmak üzere uluslararası ilişkiler alanında çok sayıda kitap bölümü yazmıştır.

2011-2012 akademik yılından günümüze kadar lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora düzeyinde Diplomasi Tarihi, Türkiye’nin Siyasi Yapısı: Dönüşüm ve Krizler, Türk Siyasi Hayatı ve Siyasal Kurumlar, Uluslararası Enerji Politikaları ve Güvenliği, Güvenlik Stratejileri, Dış Politika Analizi: Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti, Asya-Pasifik’te Güvenlik Algılamaları, Çin Güç Stratejisi ve Bölgesel Politikaları gibi dersler vermektedir.

Alanıyla ilgili birçok televizyon programına katılmış olan Prof. Dr. Ragıp Kutay Karaca, uluslararası ilişkiler, diplomasi ve stratejik konular üzerine görüşlerini paylaşarak kamuoyunu bilgilendirmeye devam etmektedir. Programlarda özellikle Türk dış politikası, Orta Doğu’daki gelişmeler, küresel güç dengeleri ve bölgesel iş birliği gibi konuları ele alan Karaca, akademik bilgi birikimini anlaşılır bir şekilde aktararak izleyicilere geniş bir perspektif sunmaktadır. Halihazırda televizyon programlarına katılımını sürdüren Karaca, güncel meselelerdeki analizleriyle dikkat çekmekte ve stratejik düşüncenin toplumda yaygınlaşmasına katkıda bulunmaktadır.

Bunların yanında, Prof. Dr. Ragıp Kutay Karaca, uluslararası politika, diplomasi ve stratejik ilişkiler alanlarında derinlemesine analizler yapan bir köşe yazarıdır. 2022’den bu yana Dünya Gazetesi’nde yazmakta olan Karaca, küresel sistemin temel dinamiklerini ve uluslararası aktörlerin stratejik hamlelerini tarihsel ve analitik bir çerçevede ele alarak disiplinlerarası bir yaklaşım sergilemektedir.

Prof. Dr. Tanja MİLOSEVSKA Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Skopje, Faculty of Philosophy, Institute for Security, defense and peace

Tanja Miloshevska is a Full Professor at the Institute for Security, Defense and Peace, Faculty of Philosophy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. She teaches at first second and third cycle studies in the fields of security, defense and peace, private and corporate security studies, international and intercultural studies and second cycle at international relations: conflict resolution, diplomacy and global governance.
She is Head of Institute for Security, Defense and Peace at the Faculty of Philosophy since 2021.
Miloshevska is a JFDP Allumni of the American Council for International Education - US State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Program. Her stay was at George Washington University and Elliott School of International Affairs. She received the Diploma of Successful Completion of the Junior Faculty Development Program-Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies.
Member of the organizing and editorial board of international scientific conferences in Ohrid and Dojran, Macedonia (2015-2024), member of international professional meetings (France, Germany), editor and deputy editor of the international scientific journal "Security Dialogues" (2016- 2021). Miloshevska has participated in numerous scientific conferences in Macedonia and abroad and has received numerous certificates for participation in summer schools and with presentations of papers at international scientific conferences in Romania, Germany, Turkey, Croatia, USA, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Denmark and Italy.
Prof. Dr. Miloshevska is the author of more than seventy expert and scientific papers in domestic and foreign publications, three monographs and co-author of six books.
