The Journal of Diplomatic Research (JDR) (E-Journal / ISSN: 2687-590X) is an international double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal that began publication in 2019. It is published twice a year (June and December). JDR focuses on topics related to all aspects of global politics, diplomacy, and international relations.
While the journal's name reflects a fundamental focus on diplomacy, JDR accepts interdisciplinary articles that explore a broader spectrum of global political dynamics, including but not limited to conflict resolution, international law, governance, economic relations, and cultural exchanges.
Prospective authors can submit original research articles, review articles, case studies, methodological studies, and book reviews to JDR. The journal's publication languages are Turkish and English. Articles written in Turkish must have a 750-word extended English abstract. In accordance with its publication policy, JDR encourages original, high-quality research that contributes to the understanding and resolution of contemporary global issues. The journal welcomes submissions from scholars and practitioners worldwide to support diversity of thought and promote dialogue between different perspectives and methodologies.
In order to increase the visibility of studies published within the scope of the journal in national and international circles, it is indexed by ASOS Index, Index Copernicus, and CiteFactor. The journal also continues its goal of being included in international indexes.
Open Access The Journal of Diplomatic Research (JDR) is an open access journal and publishes only open access articles. Open access publishing means that your article is made freely available online immediately upon publication. This increases the visibility, readability, and impact of your research. Committed to the principles of open access and academic integrity, JDR does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the submission or publication process. The journal operates with a completely open access model to ensure that published research is freely available to readers globally, encouraging greater dissemination and impact. We invite article submissions that critically engage with global politics, challenge established paradigms, or offer innovative approaches to understanding the complexities of global politics. |
