Original Research Article

Word Count: 6,000-10,000 words (including references and appendices)

  • Title (Turkish and English)

Book Review

Word Count: 2,000-4,000 words

Structure:

  • Title (name of the book being reviewed)
  • Author name and ORCID number
  • Bibliographic Information of the Reviewed Book:
  • Book author
  • Book title
  • Publisher
  • Publication year
  • Page count
  • ISBN
  • Main text (introduction, content evaluation, methodology, contribution, critique)
  • Conclusion
  • References (if necessary)
  • Declarations (Conflict of interest, Funding, Ethics statement)

Special Requirements:

  • Books published within the last 3 years
  • Abstract not required
  • Critical evaluation of the book's content, methodology, and contribution to the field
  • Academic and objective approach

GENERAL WRITING RULES

Title

  • Clear, understandable, and reflective of the content
  • Turkish and English versions should be equivalent
  • Maximum 15-20 words recommended
  • Avoid unnecessary abbreviations

Author Information
  • Full Name
  • Institution name and country
  • Email address (mandatory for corresponding author)
  • ORCID number (mandatory for all authors)
Abstract and Keywords
  • Abstract: 150 words, should include the purpose, method, findings, and conclusion of the research
  • Extended Abstract: 750 words (in English for Turkish articles only)
  • With subheadings: Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion
  • Keywords: Minimum 3, maximum 5 words
  • Should be arranged in alphabetical order
  • Specific and representative keywords should be selected
Citation and References

In-Text Citations

References
  • References must be formatted according to APA 6 format
  • Should be arranged in alphabetical order
  • Journal and book titles must be in italics
  • Page numbers must be specified for periodicals
  • DOI number must be included if available
  • All sources cited in the text must appear in the references
Tables and Figures
  • Table/Figure/Image: Number and title at the top
  • Source should be indicated below the table if applicable
  • Figures/Images and Graphics: High resolution (minimum 300 dpi)

Footnotes
  • Footnotes should be used as sparingly as possible
  • Necessary explanations should be made within the text
  • If used, should be numbered at the bottom of the page

Headings
  • Should be written in 11 point and bold/bold and numbered (e.g., 1., 1.1.,)

Special Cases
  • Italic usage: Foreign words, book/journal names, emphasis
  • Bold usage: Headings, special emphasis
  • Abbreviations: Full form should be written at first use, abbreviation given in parentheses
