Sinan GOKDEMIR was born in 1982 at Kayseri Türkiye. He achieved bachelor degree in Adnan Menderes March University at Tourism and Hospitality Management School/ Travel Management and Tourist Guidance. After having a couple of different experience at the travel guidance position with different international travel agencies such as Peregrine Adventures and Boronia Travel Center, he achieved Master’s degree at Tourism Management at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in year 2011. Right after he got his master diploma from University he applied and accepted for Phd at Balıkesir University in year 2011. He got his Phd diploma at year 2017. He is a Professor Assist. in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University Tourism Faculty since 2013. His main research interests are Tourism Guidance, Cultural Heritage, Travel Management and Social Media Usage in Tourism.
He completed his undergraduate education in Tourism Management and Hotel Management at Bilkent University in 2007. He completed his master's degree in 2013 at Balıkesir University, Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, and his doctorate in 2017 at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Tourism Management.
He currently serves as a faculty member at the Tourism Faculty of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His main areas of research focus on tourism marketing, tourism/tourist guiding, sustainable tourism, and cultural heritage. He has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

orn in 1978 in Tosya, Şahin completed his undergraduate education in 2002 at Balıkesir University, School of Tourism and Hotel Management, Department of Travel Management.
After working in various tourism enterprises within the sector, he pursued an academic career. At the Institute of Social Sciences of Balıkesir University, Department of Tourism Management and Hotel Management, he received his Master of Science degree in 2004 with his thesis titled “Outsourcing in Enterprises and an Application on Accommodation Businesses.” In 2011, he earned his Ph.D. with his dissertation titled “The Ethical Decision-Making Process in the Marketing Activities of Travel Agencies: The Case of Istanbul.”
Throughout his academic career, he has held administrative positions in various faculties at Balıkesir University, served as a member of faculty and executive boards, and taken part in different university committees and commissions. In addition, he has acted as a coordinator and principal investigator in several European Union-funded projects supported by various institutions. He has also served in roles such as Chair of the Ethics Committee and Coordinator of Publications and Journals.
Şahin currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Tourism Management at the Balıkesir University Faculty of Tourism.
He is married and has two children.
Michael Hall is currently a Professor in the Department of Management, Marketing and Tourism, University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He also holds visiting professor positions at Oulu University in Finland, Linnaeus University in Sweden, the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and Taylor's University in Malaysia. Coeditor of Current Issues in Tourism and Field Editor of Frontiers in Sustainable Tourism his research encompassed tourism, regional development, global environmental change, sustainability and resilience.

| Dr. Çakici is a full time professor at the Faculty of Tourism at Mersin University, Turkey. He has published many articles, book chapters, and conference papers besides a course book on Meeting Management. He is one of the editors of a textbook called "Tourism Guidance" and also edited a course book named “General Tourism”. He is also one of the authors of the book "Statistical Thinking and Data Analysis". His research interests are marketing issues, research methods and business statistics. He has also contributed to national and international journals and academic conferences by refereeing the articles and papers. Additionally, he is a member of the Accreditation Council of Tourism Education at university level in Turkey. |
Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt was born in Kaynarca, Sakarya in 1968. He graduated from Uludağ University Balıkesir School of Tourism Management and Hotel Management in 1988 and started working as a research assistant at the same school in 1989. He completed his master's degree at the University of Surrey in England in 1992, having won a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education. Avcıkurt received his doctorate in Tourism Management and Hotel Management from Balıkesir University in 1997, became an associate professor in 2000, and a full professor in 2006. Having held various administrative positions within the university, Avcıkurt served as the Director of the Balıkesir University School of Tourism Management and Hotel Management from 2003 to 2013. On April 25, 2013, by a decision of the Council of Ministers, he was appointed as the first dean of the Faculty of Tourism, which was established in place of the School of Tourism Management and Hotel Management, and he held this position until December 19, 2020. Avcıkurt, who also has sector experience in the field of tourism, has numerous publications both domestically and internationally. He has also served as a project manager in various European Union projects. Since January 2023, Cevdet Avcıkurt has been serving as the Vice Rector of Balıkesir University. Fluent in English and German, Avcıkurt is married and has two children.
Tören, 2000 yılında Şahinbey Anadolu Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Lisesi ile giriş yaptığı turizm alanına; teorik, yurt içi ve yurt dışı pratik tecrübelerinin yanı sıra, yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmalarını tamamladıktan sonra, öğretim üyesi olarak katkı sağlamaya çalışmaktadır. Çalışma konuları arasında, "Diaspora Turizmi", "Uluslararası Göçler", "Kültür Turizmi", "Kültürel Miras Yönetimi" ve "Seyahat Motivasyonları" bulunmaktadır.
He graduated from Erciyes University, School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Nevşehir 1996. He started his academic life at Selcuk University in 1997. He completed master's and doctorate education at Selcuk University Social Sciences Institute. He had officiated as Asst. Assoc. Dr. at Beysehir Ali Akkanat Tourism Faculty between 2010 and 2017. Akgöz, who was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2019, worked as a faculty member at Manas University in Kyrgyzstan-Turkey between 2017 and 2020. He has many books and articles on topics of tourism, gastronomy and reputation management. He participated in many national and international congresses and conferences. He works at Selcuk University, Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Management.
An enthusiastic academician with more than 18 years of teaching experience in the hospitality and tourism fields. His main research interest is in hospitality and tourism areas related to hospitality technology, human-technology interaction, educational innovation, innovative marketing, and sustainable tourism. He is passionate about building international academic collaborations toward scholarly, practical, and social advancement.

Dr. Soultana Tania Kapiki is currently a Supervisor of PhD students at the International Hellenic University (IHU). She was a Visiting Professor at the Kokand University, Uzbekistan (2022/2023), Faculty Member at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (1980-2017) and Professor (2017-2022) at the Department of Organization Management, Marketing & Tourism, IHU, Greece (teaching at both Undergraduate and Master's level) the following courses: Management, Hospitality Management, Lodging Operations Management, Introduction to Tourism, Hospitality & Travel, Management of Operations & Hospitality in Healthcare Units, Management of Educational Units and Quality Management in Tourism Accommodations. Moreover, she has been International Projects Coordinator and Project Manager of numerous EU funded projects. Her research interests include: Sustainability; Education & other organization management; Project/knowledge management; Qualitative development of the Greek & global tourism/hospitality; Smart tourism and hospitality.

Alparslan Güvenç graduated with high honors from the Department of Travel Management and Tourism Guiding at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He then completed his master's degree at Isparta University of Applied Sciences with a thesis on "cycling tourism." His academic interests include qualitative research methods, sustainable development, bicycle tourism, and tourist guiding. Güvenç has presented papers at various national and international symposiums and conferences, aiming to develop interdisciplinary collaboration by contributing to publications and projects in his field. He is currently continuing his research at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
