Call Paper Special Issue 2: Sustainability, Innovation and Changing Dynamics in Tourism: From Local to Global Dear Researchers,
Today, the tourism sector is faced with growing needs and evolving expectations. The tourism sector is constantly being transformed by factors such as the increasing number of tourists worldwide, rapid technological developments, environmental concerns and social changes. In this rapidly changing economy, the principles of sustainability and innovation are gaining importance. Tourism organizations should move away from focusing solely on profit and adopt an environmentally sensitive, socially accountable and innovative approach. We are working on a special issue exploring the intersection of sustainability and innovation in tourism, considering the changing dynamics of the industry, from local cultures to global trends. This special issue aims to comprehensively examine the impact of sustainability and innovation in the tourism sector and encourage the emergence of new concepts in this field. This special issue will cover a variety of topics such as the involvement of local communities in tourism, the protection of natural and cultural resources, the implementation of new marketing tactics and the use of technological advancements. We invite submissions from industry experts, researchers, academics, and tourism professionals for this special issue. Let us prioritize the significance of sustainability and innovation in tourism by utilizing this forum to collectively study and discuss these crucial subjects that influence the future of the tourism industry. Topics to be covered in this special issue include, but are not limited to, the following:
