Open Access Policy

Journal of Sport Sciences Research is an open access journal, which means that all content can be accessed free of charge by the user or his/her institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative's (BOAI) definition of open access. All articles are fully open access under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.
The Journal of Sports Science Research is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes into account the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing published by the Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC 4.0) , the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).


Licensing and Copyright Policy

Author(s) agree that manuscripts accepted for publication by the Journal of Sport Sciences Research since December 2016 will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows third parties to read, copy, share, and adapt the content for non-commercial purposes by properly attributing the original work without prior permission from the publisher or author.
Therefore, along with all manuscripts, the author(s) must fill out the Copyright Agreement Form and upload it to the system. Please click on the given access link to access the Copyright Agreement Form. The author(s) reserves the copyright of their manuscripts published in the Journal of Sport Sciences Research
When using previously published content, including figures, tables, or any other material in both print and electronic formats, authors must obtain permission from the copyright holder. Legal, financial and criminal liabilities in this regard belong to the author(s).

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

A withdrawal request for an article submitted to the Journal for publication and for which the process has been initiated is evaluated by the editorial board of the Journal. To request the retraction of an article, authors must send a letter to the editor of the journal, signed by all authors, stating their request and the reasons for retraction (Form). The request is reviewed by the editorial board and a decision is made based on the reasons provided by the authors. If the request is approved, the article will be withdrawn from the journal and the authors will be notified of the decision. Authors should note that they should not submit their work to another journal for consideration until the withdrawal request has been approved.


Conflict of Interest Policy

Journal of Sport Sciences Research is responsible for taking precautions in order to prevent potential conflicts of interest and for assessing the given declarations. Consequently, the Journal thinks that potential conflicts of interest harms the scientific publication ethics. The Journal defines all the responsibilities for all shareholders in order to determine and prevent conflicts of interest. In case of a potential conflict of interest, the Journal suspends the evaluation process of an article until the unclarity is eliminated. In this context, the Journal has the right to request Ethics Committee Approval, Interviewer Voluntary Consent Form and other documents to be submitted by the author that submits the article.


Preview

The articles which are submitted to the Journal of Sport Sciences Research, accepted after the evaluation process and completed the process after the acceptance are presented with preview along with their DOI (Digital Object Identifier) numbers on the electronic environment in order to distribute the scientific information in an up-to-date manner. The articles which are published in the preview are published in an issue and voice with a page number approved by the editor board and they are removed from the preview afterward. The articles in preview may not be the last version which will be published in the intended issue. Small changes may occur in the last version of the studies.

Archiving Policy

Journal of Sport Sciences Research uses the LOCKSS system to allow participating libraries to create permanent archives for preservation and restoration purposes to create a distributed archiving system. For detailed information about the LOCKSS system, CLICK Here.
