Author Guidelines

General Guidelines

1. Authors must prepare their articles using the “Template” file.

2. When submitting an article, authors must include their author information in the Word document exactly as it appears on the “title page”: First Name LAST NAME, Institutional Information, Contact Information, and ORCID number.

6. During the initial submission, the peer review process will not be initiated for manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s formatting guidelines. In this process, the author is given a maximum of 20 days to make the necessary corrections. Manuscripts not formatted according to the journal’s formatting guidelines within this timeframe will be returned.

7. Authors should periodically log into the journal’s system to check the status of the review process and review the feedback from reviewers and editors. BIBLIOGRAPHY CONNECTOR AND LIBRARY LIST [1]

1. References within the text should be linked using the bibliography heading.

2. In case of direct quotation:

  a. If the quote is less than 40 words, it should be enclosed in double quotation marks.

  b. If the quote is 40 words or more, it should be formatted as a block quote.

3. Direct quotations must include the page number; for summarized quotations, providing the page number is optional.

  a. For a single page: (Inler, 2018, p. 66)

  b. For page range: (Inler, 2018, pp. 66-77)

4. In Turkish articles, the conjunction "and" should be used in bibliography conjunctions and bibliography lists.

5. In English articles, the symbol “&” should be used for bibliographic conjunctions, “and” for in-text citations, and “&” for the bibliography list.

6. The article's bibliography should be entered according to APA 7 citation standards. Citations should be in the text as follows: “Cumankunova, 2018; Cumankunova, 2018, p. 55”.

10. If a work is cited multiple times within the same paragraph, after specifying the date in the first citation, it is sufficient to give the author's last name in subsequent citations. However, if the citation is in parentheses as (author, year), the date must be written each time, even if it is in the same paragraph. Also, if the same author's works from different years appear in the same paragraph, the date must be specified in all citations to avoid confusion. Example: According to Fuller (1982), information is increasing exponentially today, and the time attributed for the half-life of information is getting shorter and shorter each day. Fuller states that until the 1900s, information approximately doubled every century, that this period decreased to 25 years at the end of the Second World War, and that today information is growing exponentially every 18 months.
