Asst. Prof. Dr. Hande Akarca serves at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Düzce University. She holds a B.Arch. and a Master’s Degree from Istanbul Technical University and a Post Graduate Diploma, and an MA in Built Research Studies from Oxford Brookes University. She had her Ph.D. from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Her primary research areas include participatory neighbourhood regeneration and conservation, as well as sustainable design approaches in architecture. She is a member of Europa Nostra Turkiye and ICOMOS Turkiye.

Ayça Kurtoğlu, lisans ve yüksek lisans derecelerini Marmara Üniversitesi’nden, doktora derecesini ise Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Anabilim Dalı’ndan almıştır. Marmara ve Bilkent üniversitelerinde görev yapmış, 2007–2016 yılları arasında çeşitli kadın örgütlerinde gönüllü olarak çalışmıştır. Kademe Yüzme Antrenörü. 1992-1996 yılları arasında 4 yıl Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliğinin ardından 1996-2014 yılları arasında Marmara Üniv. Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalıştı. 2014 yılından beri Düzce Üniv. Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde Öğretim Üyesi olarak çalışmaktadır. Halen Prof. Dr olarak aynı üniversitede  Antrenörlük Eğitimi Bölüm Başkanı olarak çalışmaktadır.

Dilara Uslu, who works in the Department of History, Faculty of Science and Letters, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, in the field of Turkish Republic History, was born on May 17, 1982, in the Keçiören district of Ankara. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul and enrolled in the Department of History at the Faculty of Science and Letters at Sakarya University in 1999. After graduating from this department in 2003, Uslu began working as a lecturer in the Department of Atatürk Principles and Revolutionary History at Sakarya University in the same year. She served as Deputy Head of the Department of Atatürk Principles and Revolutionary History between 2004-2010 and 2014-2015. In 2006, he completed his master's thesis titled “Turks and Armenians According to The Times Newspaper (1918-1919)” and began his doctoral studies in the 2006-2007 academic year. In 2013, he completed his doctoral thesis titled “Greek-Turkish Solidarity in the National Struggle According to the Turkish and Western Press (1919-1922)” and received his doctorate. On December 31, 2015, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History, Faculty of Science and Literature, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, in the field of Turkish Republic History. He has participated in numerous international symposiums both domestically and abroad (Kazakhstan and Spain). He served as the Head of the Department of History of the Republic of Turkey between 2017 and 2019. He continues to serve as the Director of the Center for Women's Studies, Research, and Application, which he founded and has been operating at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University since April 4, 2018.

Tübitak Bilim İnsanı Destekleme Programı tarafından finanse edilen Tanzimat reformlarından 1950’lere İtalyan Güzel Sanatlar Akademilerinde sanat ve mimarlık eğitimi almış Osmanlı ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşı öğrenciler başlıklı bir yıllık araştırma projesini 13 Ekim 2024’te başarıyla tamamlayıp üniversitesindeki görevine dönmüştür. Doç. Dr. Cenk Berkant’ın araştırma alanları Türk-İtalyan Sanat ve Mimarlık İlişkileri ile Geç Osmanlı ve Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi Sanatı ve Mimarlığı’dır.
