To the Editor of Kilitbahir, The work with the title and authors indicated in your UDS System has been uploaded for evaluation for publication. This work has not been published anywhere else, has not been accepted for publication, and has not been submitted to another journal for evaluation.

In the event that the work is accepted for publication, the author grants the ‘Right of Adaptation’ as stipulated in Article 21, the ‘Right of Reproduction’ as stipulated in Article 22, the ‘Right of Distribution’ as stipulated in Article 23, and the ‘Right of Public Performance’ as stipulated in Article 24 of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846 (FSEK), as well as the ‘Right of Public Performance’ as stipulated in Article 25, including digital transmission, and the ‘Right of Public Performance’ as stipulated in Article 25, including digital transmission, to the publisher. Article 24, ‘Right of Public Performance,’ and Article 25, including digital transmission, ‘Public Performance by Means of Sound and/or Image Transmission Devices,’ re-transmission, public performance, performance authorisation, and the right to make the work available to the public at the time and place chosen by third parties, as well as other rights specified in this agreement; the place, number and content, and the duration of this contract shall be exclusively transferred to the Publisher for the protection period stipulated by the law in force on the date of signing this contract. In addition, moral rights shall remain with the Author (hereinafter referred to as the Authorised Writer).

However, the Publisher shall have the right to use moral rights within the scope of the financial rights transferred to it. Within this scope, the ‘Right of Public Disclosure’ regulated in Article 14 of the FSEK, the ‘Right to Be Named’ regulated in Article 15, the ‘Right to Prevent Alterations to the Work’ regulated in Article 16, and the ‘Rights of the Author Against the Possessor and Owner’ regulated in Article 17 may be asserted against third parties. However, the Authorised Author retains the right to prevent publication that would harm the honour and reputation of the author.

The Publisher may reproduce and publish the original or copies of the Work in any manner or by any means, in whole or in part. In this context, the Publisher may reproduce and publish the Work in bound or unbound form, in instalments in periodic or non-periodic publication formats, in various sizes and colours, and in formats prepared for the visually impaired. The Publisher may also reproduce and publish the Work in physical form, as well as in digital environments such as the internet and similar environments, including computers, mobile phones, CDs, DVDs, and other known or future environments that enable the transmission and reproduction of signs, sounds, and/or images, either temporarily or permanently. Within this scope, the Author hereby accepts, declares and undertakes that the Publisher may publish the Work in formats and media required by new technologies, such as e-books and z-books (enhanced books), and may develop applications in various formats, such as iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android.

The Author hereby transfers and assigns to the Publisher the right to broadcast and rebroadcast the Work via wired or wireless means such as radio, TV, satellite, and cable; the right to communicate to the public, rebroadcast, and perform the Work; and the right to communicate to the public, rebroadcast, and perform the Work through digital transmission, including the right to enable third parties to access the Work at the time and place of their choosing. This includes interactive applications, DVD, VCD, CD, MP3, video, GSM, EDGE, UMTS, 2.5G, 3G, LTE, 4G, DVBH, CDMA, HTML, XML, WAP, mobile TV, mobile streaming, mobile live streaming, catch-up, VOD, mobile, internet, social media, IPTV, WEBTV, HTML, XML, WAP, GSM, iPad, iPod, iPhone, and similar smart devices, as well as mobile phones and other mobile platforms using mobile technology, including those known at the time of signing the contract or developed in the future, the right and authority to broadcast, provide access, transmit to the public, provide public access, broadcast, and rebroadcast shall belong to the Publisher.

The Author has transferred and assigned to the Publisher the right and authority to process the Work. Within this scope, the Publisher may translate the Work into any language or dialect; convert it into other types of works such as music, cinema, opera, and theatre, or use it in conjunction with such works; convert it into an audiobook or video book; compile it into a collection; classifying according to age groups, adapting, summarising, and adding to databases, and publishing by means of illustration, and the rights and authority over these processes shall belong exclusively to the Publisher. The Publisher is the owner of the commercialisation (merchandising) rights of the Work. In this context, the Publisher may use the name of the Work, any character appearing in the Work, the names of the characters, events, photographs, drawings and images in any manner and in any sector it deems appropriate, together with any other service or product, for promotional or commercial purposes or for any other purpose.

The Publisher may also register these elements as trademarks or domain names in its own name. On behalf of all authors of the Work, as the Authorised Author, I declare that I am entitled to transfer the rights I am transferring, that no third party has any rights to the Work, that the rights I am transferring to the Publisher under this agreement belong to me and that I have not previously transferred these rights to anyone else. In the event that third parties claim any rights over the entire Work or any part thereof, I accept and declare that I shall be liable for any compensation and other legal responsibilities arising therefrom, and that I shall immediately and in cash compensate the Publisher for any damages it may incur in this case, and that the Publisher shall have the right to terminate this agreement for this reason.

As the Authorised Author of the Work, I confirm that I accept all the terms and conditions in the ‘Notes to Authors’ section of Kilitbahir and that the work I have submitted has been prepared in accordance with ethical rules, and that the right to make editorial corrections to the published article has been transferred to Kilitbahir.

As the Author, I declare that I have logged into your journal's UDS system using my own username and password and have accepted the terms of this Copyright Transfer Form by checking the box ‘I have read and accepted the Copyright Transfer Form’ displayed on the screen.
