Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

In accordance with the 2020 criteria of the TR Dizin Journal Evaluation, under the provision stating that “For research requiring ethics committee approval conducted in all scientific fields (ethics committee approval must have been obtained, this approval must be stated in the article, and it must be documented),” studies to be published are required to obtain ethics committee approval. For studies requiring ethics committee approval, information regarding the relevant Ethics Committee Approval (name of the committee, decision date, and decision number) must be included in the Methods section of the article.
Research requiring Ethics Committee approval includes the following:
1. All types of research conducted using qualitative or quantitative approaches that require collecting data from participants through techniques such as surveys, interviews, focus group studies, observation, experiments, and similar methods,
2. The use of humans and animals (including materials/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,
3. Clinical research conducted on humans and animals,
4. Retrospective studies within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
In addition:
• In case reports, it must be stated that an “informed consent/assent form” has been obtained,
• For the use of scales, questionnaires, and photographs belonging to others, permission must be obtained from the owners and this must be stated,
• It must be stated that copyright regulations have been complied with for any ideas and works of art used.
