Kastamonu Journal of Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in May and November, electronically.
All legal responsibility for the articles published in the journal rests with the author(s), while the copyright belongs to our University.
Manuscripts submitted for publication are reviewed by at least two referees through a double-blind peer-review process and are subjected to a meticulous preliminary evaluation, including plagiarism screening and a process in line with publication ethics.
For manuscripts submitted to the journal, it is required that they have not been published elsewhere or accepted for publication. If the submitted text is a paper presented at a scientific meeting, this must be stated as a footnote on the first page.
Although the journal’s language of publication is Turkish, studies in English, Arabic, and Russian are also welcome for publication.
Important Notice
The Kastamonu Journal of Social Sciences does not accept articles on an issue-by-issue basis. Therefore, it is strictly not possible to guarantee a specific issue or timeframe for manuscripts uploaded to the system, even if their publication process is successfully completed.
In line with its working policy, the journal team proceeds to the evaluation stage promptly, without delaying submissions, and demonstrates due diligence to ensure that publication processes are completed smoothly and without interruption.
