Author Guidelines

• Submissions requested to be evaluated in the journal must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s writing guidelines. Manuscripts that do not comply with the writing guidelines will be returned.
• Manuscripts to be submitted to the journal must be prepared using the “Article Template” without altering the template. (Click here to download the Article Template.)
• The similarity rate of manuscripts submitted for publication must be no more than 20%. Manuscripts are screened at the preliminary evaluation stage using Turnitin or iThenticate software. Manuscripts with a similarity rate above the specified limit will be sent back to the author for revision.
• Works derived from any thesis or another scientific study must be indicated in a footnote to be provided.
• For studies requiring ethics committee approval, information on the relevant Ethics Committee Approval (name of the committee, decision date, and decision number) must be included in the Methods section of the article.
• Footnotes, references, and bibliography formatting in manuscripts to be published in the journal must be prepared by taking into account the examples provided in the “Article Template.”
• All sources used in the manuscript must be listed in the bibliography in alphabetical order according to the authors’ surnames. Sources not cited in the manuscript should not be included in the bibliography.
• The Abstract section added at the beginning of the manuscript should include the purpose, scope, method, and original contribution to the field. An Abstract that meets these requirements should be 300–400 words and include at least 3 and at most 5 keywords.
• Each submission must include an English abstract of 300–400 words and at least 3 and at most 5 English keywords.
• For manuscripts written in languages other than Turkish and English, a 300–400-word abstract in the language of the manuscript must also be included.
• Submissions sent to our journal as full texts in English, Arabic, and Russian will be subject to a preliminary evaluation in terms of language proficiency and suitability. Manuscripts deemed linguistically unsuitable will be returned to the author.
• Articles to be submitted to the journal must be at least 2,500 words and no more than 10,000 words, including appendices. This requirement does not apply to translations, book introductions, and book reviews.
• Withdrawal of submissions sent to our journal without a valid justification is not recommended.
• If a transcription alphabet or another alphabet is to be used in a manuscript to be published in the journal, the required font(s) must be uploaded to the system together with the article files.
