Copyright Policy

The copyright of articles published in Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University International Journal of Art and Design remains with the authors. Authors retain the copyright to their works and grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish their articles for the first time, make them electronically accessible, and identify itself as the original publisher.

Articles published in the journal are made openly accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.

This license permits the sharing, copying, reproduction, distribution, adaptation, and reuse of published works in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original work, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated. No additional permission from the journal is required for such uses.

Authors may share their published articles on personal websites, in institutional repositories, and on other open-access platforms, provided that appropriate attribution is given and the terms of the license are observed.

Texts, figures, tables, photographs, artworks, design products, audiovisual materials, and other content included in manuscripts must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or copyrights of third parties. Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions from the relevant rights holders, where applicable, and appropriately acknowledging the sources of the materials used.

Third-party materials that are not covered by the article's CC BY-NC 4.0 license remain subject to the permissions of their respective rights holders and applicable copyright regulations.

During the manuscript submission process, authors are required to read, sign, and upload the Copyright and Publication License Agreement and Authorship Declaration Form to the DergiPark system. Through this form, authors declare the originality of their work, their respective contributions, compliance with ethical principles, and fulfillment of their obligations concerning copyright.

Legal responsibility for copyright infringements arising from the use of third-party content in manuscripts rests with the authors responsible for such infringements, in accordance with applicable legislation.
