Aim & Scope

The Journal of Theology Faculty of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University is an academic journal published by the Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University twice a year in June and in December. Our journal is intended on the one hand, to contribute to the scientific knowledge particularly in the field of theology and social sciences and on the other hand, to make this knowledge accessible to the public through the publication of scientific studies. The deadline for the acceptance of articles are as follows: the 01st March for the edition of 30th June and the 01th September for the edition of 31st December.

Our journal publishes works such as research articles, reviews, translations, simplifications, book reviews, symposiums, seminars, conferences, panels, etc. in the fields of theology and social sciences and humanities.
The publication language of our journal are Turkish and Arabic languages. As for its scope, it generally includes the following areas: the Basic Islamic Studies like the Koran, the hadith, tafsir, the Islamic law, the Islamic theology (kalam), the history of the Islamic sects, the Sufism as well as the Arabic language and literature; the philosophy and religious studies like the Islamic philosophy, the philosophy of religion, the history of philosophy, the logic, the religious psychology, the religious sociology, the religious education and the history of religion; the Islamic history and art like the history of Islam, the history of Islamic art, the Turkish-Islamic literature and the religious music; finally the Religious culture and moral education. In addition to the main research areas, our journal also includes Ottoman and Middle Eastern studies.
