Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

The Kırıkkale University Journal of Education (KUJE) is the official publication of the Faculty of Education of Kırıkkale University and publishes peer-reviewed, open-access scientific studies written in Turkish or English across all subfields of educational sciences. The journal is published twice a year, in December and June.
Manuscripts submitted to KUJE must:
• Not have been previously published elsewhere,
• Not be under review by another journal,
• Not be submitted simultaneously to multiple journals.
• Papers presented at scientific meetings may be considered if they have not been published as full texts and the event at which they were presented is clearly stated.
Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association) formatting and citation guidelines. The evaluation process is conducted using a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential.
KUJE obtains the right to publish accepted manuscripts. The views expressed in published articles are the responsibility of the authors and do not reflect the official view of the journal or the university. The journal adopts a completely free publication policy and does not request any fees during submission or publication. Manuscripts that do not comply with the publication principles may be rejected without being sent out for review.
Manuscripts submitted to the Kırıkkale University Journal of Education (KUJE) must be original works that have not been published elsewhere, submitted for publication, or under simultaneous review by another journal. If it is determined that a manuscript has been submitted to multiple journals, the evaluation process will be terminated immediately.
All submitted manuscripts first undergo a preliminary review by the journal secretariat to check for compliance with the journal’s formatting and publication guidelines. Manuscripts that fail to meet these requirements are returned to the authors. Manuscripts deemed appropriate are forwarded to the editor-in-chief for the assignment of a field editor.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial review are evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. In cases where the reviewers’ reports conflict, a third reviewer is assigned. Reviewer comments, suggestions, and revision requests are communicated to the authors by the editor. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in line with the reviewer feedback and resubmit them through the system. Multiple rounds of revision may be requested when necessary.
The final decision on the publication of a manuscript is made by the editors and the editorial board, based on the reviewers’ evaluations. Accepted manuscripts are sent to the authors for final proofreading before publication.
KUJE conducts all stages of the evaluation process using a double-blind peer review model, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly confidential.
