Manuscript Preparation and Formatting

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be prepared using the Journal Article Template (Microsoft Word)📝 KüifDergisiŞablonu.docx   Submissions that do not comply with the template or the journal's formatting requirements may be returned to the author(s) for revision before being considered for editorial evaluation.

The manuscript must be prepared in LT Soul font. The main text should be 10-point, while footnotes should be 8-point. Line spacing, paragraph indentation, page margins, heading hierarchy, and all other formatting requirements must conform to the specifications provided in the journal's article template. Unless otherwise specified, spelling and punctuation should follow the Turkish Language Association (Türk Dil Kurumu) Spelling Guide for manuscripts written in Turkish.

The Turkish, English, and Arabic abstracts must each contain 200–250 words. Each abstract should be followed by 3 to 5 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the study.

The main text of the manuscript (including abstracts, references, and appendices) must be between 5,000 and 12,000 words. Manuscripts that fall outside these limits may be returned to the author(s) following the editorial preliminary review.

The preparation of manuscripts—including publication ethics, journal title, title formatting, author and affiliation information, abstracts in Turkish and foreign languages, keyword selection, the writing of titles of works in Turkish, Arabic, and other languages, transliteration, in-text citations, and references—must comply with the ISNAD Citation Style (2nd Edition). In cases not explicitly covered by these author guidelines, the ISNAD Citation Style (2nd Edition) shall prevail. Titles, tables, figures, illustrations, footnotes, references, and all other formatting elements must comply with the journal's article template. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts fully conform to the journal's formatting requirements before submission.

To ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer review process, authors must not include their names, ORCID IDs, institutional affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgements, funding information, thesis information, self-identifying self-citations, or any other information that may reveal their identity in the manuscript file. All author-related information must be provided only through the Author Information Form,📝 küifdergisiyazarbilgiformu.docx  which should be uploaded as a separate file during submission.

All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin during the editorial preliminary review. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be returned to the author(s) for revision without being sent for peer review. The similarity index alone does not automatically determine the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript. Where necessary, the Editorial Board reserves the right to evaluate the Turnitin similarity report in terms of both its overall percentage and the nature of the matching content.

Book Review Guidelines

Our journal welcomes scholarly book reviews that contribute to the fields of theology and religious studies. A book review should not merely summarize or introduce a publication; rather, it should provide a critical academic evaluation of the book by examining its objectives, methodology, content, place within the relevant literature, scholarly contribution, and its strengths and areas for improvement.

• Book reviews should be between 1,000 and 2,000 words in length.
• Each submission must include a Turkish abstract (60–100 words), an English abstract (60–100 words), and four keywords in both languages.
• The book under review should preferably be an academic publication issued within the last five years.
• The review should begin with the complete bibliographic information of the book, including the author/editor, title, publisher, place of publication, year of publication, total number of pages, and ISBN.
• The review should focus on a critical academic assessment rather than a descriptive summary. It should evaluate the book's objectives, methodology, contribution to the literature, originality, strengths, and areas for improvement based on scholarly criteria.
• Manuscripts must conform to the journal's general author guidelines, including formatting, citation style, and reference list requirements.
