Change in Our Publication Schedule

Dear readers and authors,

We would like to share an important update regarding our publication process. Starting in 2025, our journal will be published twice a year, in March and September. This change has been implemented to ensure a more organized and efficient publication process and to provide you with higher-quality content.

Journal of Divinity Faculty of Kastamonu University is is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year, in March and September. The journal started publication in 2017. It is published both in print and electronically between 2017-2019 (ISSN 2602-2427), and from 2020 on only electronically (e-ISSN: 2717-901X). Journal of Divinity Faculty of Kastamonu University is a refereed journal which is published once in a year. It aims to contribute to knowledge in the field of theology and social sciences by publishing studies that have scientific qualifications both in national and international levels.

The articles to be published in the journal should primarily be original, academic studies prepared using research methods suitable for their field. In addition, translations that contribute to the scientific field, book and symposium promotions, criticisms and evaluations are also accepted. In order to publish translated works, it is obligatory to submit a permit from the institution that published the work.

Articles submitted to the journal must not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication. Papers presented in a scientific meeting before are accepted, provided that they have not been published and this situation is clearly stated. Articles cannot be published in another place partially or completely without the permission of the publisher. The editorial board is responsible for the publication of the articles.

The publication language of the journal is Turkish. Arabic and English articles are also accepted. The Editorial Board decides on the publication of articles in other languages.

Articles submitted for publication are subject to double-blind peer-review evaluation by at least two referees. In addition, in order to avoid plagiarism, all posts are screened for plagiarism through a special program (Turnitin, Ithenticate) used in plagiarism detection. Kastamonu University Journal of Theology Faculty uses the ISNAD citation system in citation and bibliography. Arrange the articles you will send to our journal according to the Isnad Citation System.
