During the period of Islamic civilization, the common language of the Muslim communities was the Arabic language; for that reason, the Arabic language started in childhood, and educational materials were prepared for them, so one of those materials was bilingual dictionaries. In this article, two bilingual dictionaries are compared in many aspects: “Nisab’us-Sibyan” by Abu Nasr Al-Farahi and “Nubihara Biçûkan” by Ahmad Al-Khani. It should be said that while “Nisab’us-Sibyan” was written for Farsi speakers, “Nûbihara Biçûkan” was compiled for Kurdish speakers; however, the purpose of writing both dictionaries is to teach the Arabic language for children.
Di serdema şaristaniya îslamî da zimanê hevpar ê civakên misilman zimanê erebî bû; lewra fêrkirina zimanê erebî hê di zaroktiyê da dest pê dikir, ji bo wan materyalên perwerdehiyê dihatin amadekirin û ji wan materyalan yek jî ferhengên duzimanî bûn. Di vê gotarê da du ferhengên duzimanî ji gelek aliyan va hatine berawirdkirin: “Nisab’us-Sibyan”a Ebû Nesrê Ferahî û “Nûbihara Biçûkan”a Ehmedê Xaniyî. Divê bê gotin ku “Nisab’us-Sibyan” ji bo farsîaxêvan hatiye nivîsandin û “Nûbihara Biçûkan” jî ji bo kurdîaxêvan hatiye berhevkirin; lê belê armanca her du ferhengan jî fêrkirina zimanê erebî ji bo zarokan e.
