The aim of this research was to investigate the effects of family and teacher
involvement program on 5 years old children’s intuitional mathematics. The research was
designed in experimental model and the subjects have been consisted by a total amount of 63
children (20 children in control group; 21 children in experimental group I and 22 children in
experimental group II) from a private school in Istanbul. Intuitional Mathematics Ability Test
was applied to the children, which was developed by the researcher. The teachers and parents
of experimental group I children tried to develop intuitional mathematics of the children
during the research period at school and at home. On the other hand experimental group II
children had given a special program only from their teachers. The results indicated that the
parent and teacher involvement programs were not effective on the children’s intuitional
