Abstract
This article is about the significance of role playing as a fundamental technique of
educational drama in human life and education. The dimentions of role playing according
to Bronfenbrenner’s definition of role were examined theoretically and the key points for
effective usage of role playing in educational drama were discussed.

Bu yazıda, eğitici drama yönteminin temel bir tekniği olan rol oynamanın, insan yașamındaki ve eğitimdeki yeri ve önemi betimsel olarak incelenmeye çalıșılmıștır. İnceleme, özelikle Bronfenbrenner’ın rol tanımındaki boyutlar temelinde ele alınmıș ve rol oynamadan beklenen yararların elde edilebilmesi için nelere dikkat edilmesi gerektiği üzerinde de durulmuștur.
