İç Mimarlık Disiplini Renk Eğitiminde Dijital Tabletin Bir Öğrenme Aracı Olarak Değerlendirilmesi: Öğrenci Deneyimlerine Dayalı Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Dijital teknolojilerin hızlı gelişimi, eğitimde kullanılan araçların dönüşümüne yol açmakta ve iç mimarlık eğitiminde dijital tasarım yöntemlerinin giderek daha fazla benimsenmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışma, dijital araçların renk eğitimi müfredatına dahil edilmesini ve bu entegrasyonun nasıl gerçekleştirilebileceğini incelemektedir. Bu doğrultuda, dijital tabletin iç mimarlık renk eğitiminde öğrenme ve uygulama aracı olarak geçerliliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla bir çalıştay düzenlenmiştir. Çalıştay sürecinde katılımcılar, bir mekân görseli üzerinde tablet ve dijital kalem kullanarak renk armonisi çalışmaları yapmıştır. Ardından çalıştay deneyimini ve dijital öğrenme aracını değerlendirmeye yönelik bir anket uygulanmış; elde edilen veriler ile yapılan çalışmalar analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, dijital tablet kullanımının renk eğitiminin içeriğiyle uyumlu olduğunu ve müfredata dahil edilebileceğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca çalışma, öğrencilerin erken dönemde dijital araçları benimsediğini ortaya koyarak iç mimarlık eğitiminde dijital dönüşümün güçlendiğini ortaya koymaktadır.

An Evaluation of Digital Tablets as a Learning Tool in Color Education within the Interior Design Discipline, Based on Student Experiences

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies is transforming the tools used in education and leading to a growing adoption of digital design methods in interior design education. This study examines the integration of digital tools into colour education curricula and explores how this integration can be achieved. To this end, a workshop was organised to evaluate the role of digital tablets as learning and application tools within interior design colour education. During the workshop, participants completed colour harmony studies on an interior space image using a tablet and digital pen. Following this, a questionnaire was administered to assess the workshop experience and the digital learning tool; the collected data and outputs were analysed. The findings indicate that digital tablets are compatible with the content of colour education and can be incorporated into the curriculum. The study also shows that students adopt digital tools at an early stage, highlighting the digital transformation in interior design education.

The article complies with national and international research and publication ethics. Ethics Committee approval was received for the study with the decision of University Ethics Committee dated 07.06.2024 and numbered 15/7.
