OPINIONS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS AS REGARDS IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the opinions of elementary school teachers as regards new elementary school curriculum based on constructivist approach. Sample group of the study consists of 186 elementary school teachers working in Bayburt in 2009. “Survey on Teacher Opinions As Regards Implementation of New Elementary School Curriculum” developed based on the literature (Çınar, Teyfur ve Teyfur, 2006) has been used as data collection means. As a result of the study, it has been found that teachers have developed positive attitude towards implementation of new elementary school curriculum.
