For studies that require ethics committee approval, ethics committee approval should be obtained, this approval should be stated in the article and uploaded to the system as an additional file.
Studies that require the approval of the Ethics Committee are as follows:
1) All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from the participants using survey, interview, focus group work, observation, experiment, interview techniques.
2) The use of humans and animals (including material/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes.
3) Clinical studies on humans.
4) Research on animals.
5) Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data.
6) Indicating that the “consent form” has been acknowledge.
7) Obtaining and specifying permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others.
8) Indication of compliance with copyright regulations for the intellectual and art works that used.
In addition, the articles to be published should specify whether ethical committee permission and/or legal/special permission is required. If it is necessary to obtain these permissions, it should be clearly presented from which institution, on what date and with which decision or which number. If the study requires the use of human and animal subjects, it should be declared that the study was carried out in accordance with the international declaration, guideline, etc.
