Articles submitted to OLBA Journal are considered applications for publication. The Journal reserves the right to publish or not publish submitted articles.

- Authors do not receive royalties for articles.

- Articles must comply with research and publication ethics; the author(s) are responsible for meeting this condition. - The corresponding author undertakes that Mersin University, Kilikia Archaeology Research Center, and the Journal Editors bear no responsibility for any claims or lawsuits filed by third parties due to copyright infringement, and that all responsibility rests solely with the author(s). Furthermore, the author undertakes that the article contains no criminal elements or statements contrary to the law, that no illegal materials or methods were used during the research, that all necessary legal permissions were obtained, and that the author(s) acted in accordance with ethical rules. Despite these conditions, in the event of any legal action after the publication of the article, the author(s) of the article, not OLBA Journal or its employees, will be held responsible. Authors are also responsible for covering any financial losses and litigation and defense costs that may arise during the legal process.
-Author(s) must send the ‘Copyright Transfer Form’ prepared for OLBA Journal to the editors during the application process.
-The submitted work must be original and not previously published or submitted for publication anywhere else, either partially or completely. (For articles presented at any scientific meeting and not published, the name, location, and date of the meeting should be indicated in a footnote.)
-Authors acknowledge and agree that they grant Mersin University, Kilikia Archaeology Research Center unlimited permission to use all public communication rights, including printing, publishing, distribution, and transmission via the internet.
-Authors must obtain permission from the copyright holder when using previously published content, including images, tables, or any other content in print or electronic format. The legal, financial, and criminal responsibility in this regard rests with the authors. -OLBA Journal has adopted an open access policy, and all content is freely available to users.
-Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles in this journal free of charge without prior permission from the publisher or author. -While the advice and information in OLBA are believed to be accurate and correct at the time of publication, neither the authors, editors, nor the publisher can accept any legal responsibility for any errors that may occur. -The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the email and contact addresses of all authors are correctly entered into the OLBA Journal Article Submission System. -Written permission from the legal owners of the articles is required for their commercial use. -If the article contains a direct/indirect commercial link or sponsorship from an organization, authors must state that they have no commercial relationship with the commercial product, company, etc., and if so, what kind of relationship they have (consultant, other agreements). Authors are responsible for disclosing all personal and financial relationships that may be involved in the work. Any conflicts of interest regarding the application or evaluation of the article must be clearly stated. -The author and reader must obtain permission from the journal for any uses of the work that will result in financial gain. The author(s) reserve all intellectual property rights, including patent rights, copyright, the right to reproduce and distribute the work for their own purposes provided that it is not sold, the right to use all or part of the work free of charge in their future books and other academic works, provided that they cite the source, the right to keep it on their personal websites or in the open archives of their university, provided that they specify the source, and the right to publish it online and/or on social networks (personal web pages, course content websites, Researchgate, etc.) by providing a link to the journal in accordance with library rules, as well as the right to reproduce, distribute by mail or electronically.
