Authors' Responsibilities in the Article Withdrawal Process
If the author(s) notice an error or mistake in their initial submission, under review, or published work, they have an obligation to cooperate with the journal editor in the withdrawal process. Authors requesting the withdrawal of their work in the initial submission stage can do so via DergiPark, stating their reasons.

Authors wishing to request the withdrawal of their work in the review stage are obliged to fill out the Withdrawal Form and send it to the Editorial Board via e-mail to kaam@mersin.edu.tr. The Editorial Board will carry out the processes specified below regarding this matter.

The Editorial Board will review the withdrawal notification submitted by the author in accordance with the procedure outlined above and will respond to the author(s) within 15 days at the latest. The OLBA Editorial Board will initiate a review of the withdrawal notification submitted by the authors in accordance with the procedure outlined above. Expert opinion may also be obtained during the review process of the withdrawal notification.
1. The phrase "Withdrawn:" will be added before the title of the work accessed electronically. 2. Instead of the Abstract and Full Text links available electronically, the reasons for the retraction of the work, along with any notifications from the institutions and organizations to which the authors are affiliated, will be published. 3. The retraction notice will be announced on the main page of the journal's website. 4. In the first issue to be published after the retraction date, the table of contents of both the electronic and print copies will include "Retracted: Work Title," and the reasons for the retraction and the original quotations cited will be shared with the public and researchers, starting from the first page. 5. The retraction notices listed above will be sent to the institutions and organizations where the journal is indexed for inclusion in their indexing systems and catalogs. 6. The retraction notices listed above will be sent to the institution(s) to which the author(s) are affiliated.

Editorial Board's Responsibilities Regarding Author's Request for Correction
The published version of an article is considered the final and complete version. While it is possible to correct this version, our policy does not allow corrections to the published work except in very limited circumstances.
The Editorial Board of OLBA Journal reviews correction requests submitted by authors in accordance with the procedure outlined above and, if necessary, consults with experts to carry out the following actions:
A correction may be published if there is a serious error regarding scientific accuracy in the work or if it affects the reputation of the author and the journal.

If the Editorial Board deems the correction appropriate, the corrected article will be published in subsequent issues under the "Corrected Articles" section.
