As an open-access journal, the OTJHS will apply the Creative Commons Attribution License (CCAL) to all published works. Under the CCAL, authors retain ownership and copyright to their article but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy articles in the OTJHS, so long as the original author (s) and sources are cited;

The author (s) grant the OTJHS the right of first and exclusive distribution of the published work in print and/or online;
The author(s) warrant that permission to publish the article has not been previously assigned elsewhere.
The author (s) warrant that they have obtained proper permission from any co-authors, contributors, or supervisors for the publication of the article; and
The author (s) warrant that the contribution is original to them, except for any copyrighted material of others incorporated in it, and that the author (s) will advise us of any material, either text or illustration or graphical, the rights for which are controlled by others. Where necessary, the author (s) will get permission from the copyright owner in that material for publication by us.
The copy-editing phase aims to improve the article's fluency, clarity, grammar structure, word selection, and format. This is the last opportunity for essential changes in the author's work. In the following step, only string and formative corrections will be made. The copy-editing file can be edited like a word processing document in the form of an MS Word or .rtf file. Two approaches are proposed here for remediation. First, MS Word is making specific changes to the "Track Changes" program. However, the author, copy editor, and editor must be able to access the program. The second proposed system is independent of the software and is received here with the permission of Harward Educational Review. By modifying these instructions, the journal editor can tailor the journal to its functioning.
