Preferences of the Primary Education 5th - Grade Students Regarding the Elements of the Story

Abstract

The research was intended to determine the preferences of the 5th - grade students of the primary education regarding the narrative texts and to find out by which variables and to what extent these preferecens are affected.To this end , a total of 601 5th - grade students were taken as the sample and the survey developed by the researcher , was applied to these students.As s result of the survey , it was discovered the variables of sex and accommodation place of the students have huge effectc on their preferece for elements and subject of tbhe stories , and that the attitude that they develo to reading and level of academic success have a moderate effect on their preferece for elements and subject of the stories.

İlköğretim Beşinci Sınıfa Devam Eden Öğrencilerin Hikaye Unsurlarına İlişkin Beklentileri

Abstract

Araştırmada ilköğretim beşinci sınıf öğrensilerinin hikaye edici metinlere ilişkin tercihleri ve bu tercihlerin hangi değişkenlerden ne ölçüde etkilendiğinin tespiti amaçlanmıştır.Bu amaç doğrultusunda toplam 601 beşinci sınıf öğrencisi örneklem olarak alınmış ve bu öğrencilere araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket formu uygulanmıştır.Uygulama sonucunda öğrencilerin hikaye unsurlarını ve hikaye konuları tercih etmeleri üzerinde cinsiyet ve öğrencinin ikamet ettiği yerleşim yeri değişkeninin oldukça fazla ; okumaya karşı geliştirilen tutum ve akademik başarı düzeyinin ise orta seviyede etkisinin olduğu sonucu bulunmuştur.
