| Description | Founded in 1991 with a 12-member Board of Directors and 264 Founding Trustees, the History Foundation increased its membership to 632 by 2000, adding 10% new members each year until the abolition of foundation membership under the 2000 Civil Code amendment. In April 2005, the foundation changed its name from the Turkish Economic and Social History Foundation to the History Foundation and renewed its logo at its Extraordinary General Assembly. Since then, it has organized many important events. |
