ANALYSIS OF THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE GROWTH OF LIGHT INDUSTRY IN THE ECONOMY OF KYRGYZSTAN

Abstract

This study describes briefly the light industry in the Kyrgyz Republic, especially its main branches such as textile and clothing industries, and aims to determine relationship between the interest rate and national exchange rate and the growth of production of the light industry. The study is made by method of VAR model (Vector Autoregressive Models), the interconnection and order between variables is defined with the help of Granger causality analysis (Granger Causality Tests), and the forecasts are made on volume of production for this branch in general for 2013 and 2014 years
