Aim & Scope

The journal Resilience aims to contribute to the development of risk management-oriented approaches so that natural and human-induced hazards that systems and living spaces face do not turn into disasters. The journal brings multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and supradisciplinary research into scientific literature for inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities.

Considering the relations of field research with the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development and Sendai Framework Document for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015 risk reduction priorities and action plans, the journal gives priority to the following disciplines in resilience studies:
