ERP Sistemleri’nin İşletme Performansına Etkisinin Örgütsel ve ERP Faktörleri Açısından İncelenmesi; Erzurum İli Uygulaması

Year 2024, Volume: 11 Issue: 1, 1 - 15, 29.06.2024

Abstract

The Effect of ERP Systems Usage on Business Performance in Terms of Organizational and ERP Factors; Erzurum Province Application

Year 2024, Volume: 11 Issue: 1, 1 - 15, 29.06.2024

Abstract

SMEs have a very important place for economic development in the world and in our country. SMEs, which contribute greatly to the economic and social system, are an indispensable part of the Turkish economy. The increasing number of SMEs has made it necessary for the business environment to become more competitive and for businesses to adapt to the competitive environment. It is very important for commercial enterprises to recognize this system in order to implement the ERP system well. Although ERP systems started to be used in the 2000s, they have become what they are today as a result of the evolutions they have undergone, and this study examines the impact of the use of ERP systems on business performance of enterprises operating in the manufacturing sector in Erzurum in terms of organizational factors and ERP factors. ERP systems, which have been discussed many times in the literature in terms of their positive effects on organizational and ERP factors, are examined as the independent variable of the research. Based on this, investigating the mediating effect of ERP systems usage variable on the effect of organizational and ERP factors on business performance has been the research subject of the study. For this purpose, 98 questionnaires were applied face-to-face to SMEs operating in Erzurum province. The findings obtained from the questionnaires, demographic characteristics of the participants, mean and standard deviation values, reliability analysis, Cronbach’s alpha value and regression analysis were made with the help of SPSS package program and the findings were interpreted. As a result of the analyses, it was concluded that organizational and ERP factors have a positive effect on the use of ERP systems and the mediating ERP systems use has a positive effect on job performance.
