Annie Ernaux’da “Ruhun Tutkuları” ya da “Tutkunun Ruhu”

Abstract

XXI. yüzyıl Fransız Edebiyatının en büyük kadın yazarlarından Annie Ernaux kadın kimliği ve psikolojisi alanında çok sayıda eser vermiştir. Eserlerinde kendi içsel yolculuğunun ve bunun toplumsal karşılıklarının peşine düşmüş, bazen bir kişiyi, bazen de bir duyguyu konu almıştır. İçeriği başlığıyla uyum gösteren ve Türkçeye de “Yalın Tutku” adıyla çevrilmiş olan romanında da, yazar evli bir erkekle yaşadığı duygusal ilişkiyi bütün açıklığıyla, cesurca ortaya koymaktadır. Gençlik yıllarından itibaren, yazar için bir var olma biçimi olan tutku, bu romanda farklı bileşenleriyle kaleme alınmıştır. Kadının beklentileri üzerine kurulu bu ilişkide, sevgiliyle her bir buluşma kadın için bir yaşam kaynağı haline gelir. Kadının bedenini, ruhunu, zihnini ele geçiren ve şiddetli ve yıkıcı bir saplantıya dönüşen tutku onda tüm yaratıcı yetilerini harekete geçiren karşı konmaz bir güçtür. Ernaux bu yönüyle insan iradesini hiçliğe indirgeyip körleştiren; kendi “yasa”larının dışında, içinde başka hiçbir şeyi barındırmayan klasik “tutku-aşk”ın “fatal” boyutunu aşarak, tutkusunda sınırsız bir özgürlük tanıyor kendisine. Tutku, yazar olarak yaratıcılığını besliyor, tetikliyor; onu bir dize ruhsal çözümlemelerin içine itiyor. Bu incelemede, tutkuyu bir ruhsal “anomalie” olarak değil, insanın iç dünyasını tanımak için önemli bir “yüzleşme deneyimi” olarak gören Descartes’ın “Ruhun Tutkuları” adlı eseri kuramsal çerçeve olarak benimsenecektir.

“Passions of the Soul” or “Soul of the Passion” in Annie Ernaux

Abstract

Annie Ernaux, who is one of the greatest woman writers of the 19 century French literature, wrote numerous works in the field of woman identity and psychology. In her works, she pursues her own inner journey and its social responses, and deals sometimes with a person, sometimes with a feeling. In her novel, the title of which is in accordance with its content and which was translated into turkish as " Yalın Tutku ", the writer reveals explicitly and bravely her emotional relationship with a married man. The passion which had been a form of existence since her childhood period was written with its different components in this novel. In the relationship which depends upon the expectations of the woman, each meeting with her lover becomes a source of life for the woman. The Passion which imprisons the woman's body, her soul and mind and which is transformed into violent and destructive obsession, is the irresistible force which triggers all her creative faculties. Ernaux who degrades human will into nothingness and makes it blind, by going beyond the fatal extent of classical passion-love which does not include anything inside with the exception of its own laws gives unlimited freedom to herself. The Passion as an author promotes, triggers her creativity and pushes her into a group of spiritual analyses. In this study, Descartes' work “the Passions of the Soul” which accepts the passion as an important “encountering experience” not as a spiritual anomalie to learn man’s inner world will be taken as an theoretical framework.
