Values in Health Sciences aims to contribute to the academic body of knowledge by publishing original, up-to-date, and high-quality scientific studies conducted in the field of health sciences. Our journal seeks to promote scientific collaboration and interaction among all disciplines related to health, with a particular emphasis on basic and clinical health sciences. It supports the publication of qualified research conducted in accordance with scientific ethical principles and fosters effective knowledge exchange between researchers and healthcare professionals.
Our journal publishes clinical and experimental (in vitro and in vivo) studies across all health-related disciplines, with primary emphasis on medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, nursing and dentistry.
The journal primarily accepts the following types of scientific manuscripts:
• Original research articles,
• Review articles,
• Case reports,
• Letters to the editor.
In addition, editorial comments, scientific letters, descriptions of surgical techniques, differential diagnosis articles, original images, case-based contributions in the “What Is Your Diagnosis?” format, and medical book reviews are also considered for publication.
Original research articles should primarily report experimental studies, including in vitro, in vivo, and clinical investigations. Submissions focusing on laboratory-based or mechanistic research are particularly encouraged.
Due to the high volume of submissions, questionnaire- and scale-based studies are temporarily not being considered for evaluation. This policy is subject to revision and may be reconsidered in the future depending on submission volume.
The journal accepts manuscripts written in English and is published exclusively online three times a year, in January, May, and September.
