Articles are scanned by the İntihal.net program via the Dergipark system during the submission process. If plagiarism/self-plagiarism is detected, authors are notified and the article is returned.
Note: Due to the program's default settings, the plagiarism rates may appear high. At this stage, the editor assistants evaluate the appropriateness of the rate by examining the similarities identified in the report rather than the similarity rate itself. If necessary, articles are re-scanned by editor assistants using the Turnitin plagiarism detection program. Articles with a maximum similarity rate of 15% (excluding bibliographic materials, quotations, and minor sources up to 2%) can proceed with the process.
